I posted something similar, hasn't ended up on the page I don't think. But yeah the Salzburg coach name dropped Lpool and said how great of a fit Haaland would be. Also claimed he would be "landing in lpool". Queue the jokes that he will only be landing in Liverpool to play them in the CL.

On Haaland, my absolute favourite non-Liverpool player. World class against every type of opposition, and he’s improving at a rate not seen since R9, whereas Mbappe is more or less the same player he was in 2017.

It's just not going to happen is it, do you really see us paying the wages he'd demand? If it gives you pleasure thinking he'll join then fair enough mate but it won't happen. We all know how good he is, that's not debatable. It's about the finance side of things. He will never be a Liverpool player.

Lets just say it'll never happen so that if it doesn't i can be all smug about it! why can't it happen? fair enough on the likes of Mbappe but we can definitely sign a Haaland. The way some go on like onhere we could win the league 5 years in a row and still a top player would never look at us. yet Thiago was dying to sign and players like Salah (the mercenary) and Manè are spending their best years at the club.

We currently have about 6 players better than Haaland.

It's not about our quality or pulling power jh, it's a financial thing. We don't have ghe type of money that allows us to buy the most expensive players. Mind you, we signed vvd and Alisson.

But one thing. Our cf is what? 29? And I think we'll be looking for z new cf in coming seasons. Why not haaland?

Haaland GUARANTEES goals for a decade Robbie, in much the same way Bayern knew Lewandowski would. I believe in 2022 it will be realistic for us to go for him if he is interested. He is the kind of player that wage ceilings get smashed for. In saying that i don't think he will take Mbappe or Neymar wages to obtain.
