I feel today was a missed opportunity, shoehorning four forwards onto the starting line up.
Bobby needed to be dropped, so jota could play the whole match at center forward for me.
Would have also gave us an extra body in midfield too.

A draw at the ethiad is a good result. A very good result. The last time we played them there they done us 4 0, and we were full strength.

Jota played the whole match, he didn't score. In fact it was probably his worst performance for us. Not saying he played badly, but it wasn't because Firmino was in the pitch that he didn't score. You sound like you're trying to invent reasons to drop Bobby.

For me, Bobby should have been taken off sooner and jota should have been playing down the middle, with three midfielders supporting the front three. Bobby had a terrible game, an example of his lack of confidence was when he was clean through in the first half but then couldn’t get round Ederson. He does need to be dropped.

Call me old fashioned but I have a pretty strong loyalty to the guys who put on the red shirt. These are the players that delivered the champions league (which we would not have wson without Firmino) and the pl (dito) we would not have won the cwc without Firmino.

Now he hasn't scored loads, only once this season but the wingers are still banging in goals and we've only lost one game all season (which was not firmino's fault) and we are well poised. We know Firmino has a higher gear. I'm looking forward to seeing him hit it, which ge definitely will.

Be careful what you wish for. Firmino is instrumental to the way Liverpool play. You need to remember this isn't fifa. He's one of our longest serving players. And he's world class on his day. Capable of absolutely destroying teams. Can't do it from the bench.

Jota wasn't brought in to replace Bobby at cf. He was seen more as cover for the wingers. He's bedn brilliant, I knew he would be.

When kane does weeks without scoring, spurs fans stay faithful. Same with auba, rashford, vardy, Jiminez. Honestly, it's embarrassing how some fans are hap y to throw Bobby on the scrap heap. He's a f###ing Liverpool legend!

But its not only my loyalty to our brilliant team, I cannot see shat somd of you are saying. Bobby hasn't been playing poorly. Once or twice he's been way under par, but in most games he's been fine. People aren't calling for Trent to be rested, or gini. Players who have had below par games this season.

Everyone on here knows and understands Bobby’s role in the team and that scoring isn’t his primary role but that shouldn’t blind you to the facts. He has been playing poorly for a while now and he gets away with it because of exactly the above. A few years ago he was the best in the world at what he does and scored a ton of goals to boot. Last couple of years he scored an acceptable amount of goals and did his primary role of making space, linking play etc. Currently he is doing neither. His finishing is woeful, the ball bounces of him so much you’d be forgiven for mistaking him for Lukaku, the assist and key passes have dried up as have the ball recovery’s and his big chance miss statistic is appalling for any professional footballer, let alone the LFC number 9 and first choice centre foward.
Don’t get me wrong I love the fella for what he’s done and hopefully he can regain what he had if he gets a rest, but we shouldn’t be blinded to his poor form just because of what he did in the past. That’s how progress is stopped. He needs to be dropped.

The fans make football what it is. And loyalty to players is a large part of it. Especially at liverpool, Ynwa. How does Bobby get back to his best from the bench? I don't think it's form, I think it's fatigue. Both mental and physical, but that goes for everyone, can't bench them asl. It's not just firmino, and i can't understand why he is being singled out, probably because he's the cf. We put so much into winning the title last term, the boys are knackered. But we're a great team sand still winning games.

Jota is an excellent player, and I'm great with him playing cf in some games. But the big games you have to play Bobby. He's one of the top 5 players in the team. According to vvd he's the best. Jota looked a little out of his depth at city. Why hasn't anybody mentioned that? Instead it's blaming Firmino.

Klopp is paid the big money to make these decisions because he get to see them train everyday he will have to live with decision to keep playing bobby. As for loyalty, am afraid players will move clubs and not look back it part of football nowadays which is fine with me I don’t get attached to them anymore.

Bobby has been poor, he’s not finished but it baffles me how large swathes of our fanbase can defend him to the hilt and skate Gomez who’s playing as a part of a injury hit defensive unit. Our fans are strange, people slated Henderson for years and yet they’d defend other players to the hilt.

It takes a lot for me to slag our players. I think I got frustrated with salah not passing, and screwing shots.

Longthing, i said they're all knackered and drained, can't bench em all. Not just Bobby. Wolves played a hell of a lot of games last season too.
