For over 12 months now we have been terrible. I don’t know the number of loses in this time but we seem to have won less than half our games. We have a lot of players who form has more than dipped.

I’m not worried about our form as i think it’s obvious what the issues are and how we can resolve them.

What does worry me is whether Klopp is capable of being ruthless enough to address these issues. He seems to have grown very attached to this group of players and I worry that he’ll be too reluctant to enforce change as a result.

Some of the early signs indicate that he may have that ruthless streak, such as allowing Wijnaldum to leave and upgrading on Gomez with Konate.

On the flip side however, he continues to make very questionable team selection choices. Wijnaldum has been a disgrace for months and absolutely does not to wear a Liverpool shirt again, and is one of the main factors of our poor results. However, Klopp continues to pick him, often giving him the captains armband, and would rather sub Thiago off than Wijnaldum, despite the fact he clearly doesn’t care anymore. Mane is a total liability yet he continues to play him too, and while there have been noise about us buying players at centre back and midfield, there has been very little regarding forward players; i am genuinely worried we will go into next season with the same forward line. Klopp’s consistent recognition of our embarrassing finishing capabilities, while also doing nothing about it, also does not inspire confidence.

I trust the staff to get this summer right wholeheartedly (how could i not) but i’d be lying if i didn’t say i had cause for concern.

AW, I am not bothered about our form into next season cos that is what the offseason and preseason is for. To reboot, recharge and refocus. As for Klopp being ruthless, he can only be as ruthless as the climate and financial conditions allow him to be. I don't like that Klopp keeps playing Gini BUT he feels he has to play him cos Naby has crapped out, Ox is off form, Jones is coming back from injury and Hendo is injured. That is the hand you are dealt.

You say Klopp is not doing anything about our finishing issues. What do you propose he do when ALL his forwards (at times Salah included) miss chances they should score? Who comes in? See, I find it funny that many on here state the obvious as if Klopp is blind to them then, offer not real solutions.

Play Davies CB, Fab back in midfield, alongside Thiago in a 2, have Bobby just behind Mane with Salah and Jota on the wings,
Take Bobby away from the striking position and take the burden off scoring (or even shooting) away from him, or play Jones behind the front 3 now he is back, plus he can slip back into midfield 3, Milner can come on after an hour for Jones or Ox, we know Ox is class but needs game time, Davies can cover left back so needs a pre season then he should have a chance.
There is also the players there for a switch to back 3 with Robbo and Trent going as wing backs. May aswell try things now as we aren't getting top 4 and there's a big summer coming up, seems like we need to get rid of 5/ 6 players but need the same amount to come in which we don't have the money for unless we have big sales. Going to be the biggest summer for quite a while.
