Vardy fair doos what a goal.

Believable14 Unbelievable3

27 Mar 2016 22:48:19
I was more impressed with clynes forward play, would like to see more of that from him in a Liverpool shirt.

28 Mar 2016 01:40:40
Both teams' defending was abject throughout the game as all the goals were avoidable.

28 Mar 2016 03:09:37
you could tell it was a friendly alright, I was very impressed with kane I think he is going on to the next level, we will need to be at our best in defence when we play spurs, the English defence was as poor as I expected it to be.

26 Mar 2016 21:07:34
Eds I'd just like to say homever is was at Liverpool who thought Deli Alli wasn't worth £5m should hang their heads in shame. what a cracking young player he is.

Believable23 Unbelievable7

26 Mar 2016 21:22:19
Sorry. whomever it was!

26 Mar 2016 21:36:41
Well that's what you call a commentators curse. oh Deli Alli what was that son?

26 Mar 2016 21:54:22
Couldn't agree more instead we paid how much for Joe Allen?

26 Mar 2016 22:39:28
Absolute quality.

26 Mar 2016 23:13:41
I wish we had got Ali; looks assured and believes in his ability - makings of a great player.

"itsonlybanter" come on - Allen has been with us for 3.5 years (nearly 4) - we didn't £instead" pay / buy Joe Allen - most people hadn't heard of him back then!

27 Mar 2016 08:08:47
Totally agree Hoola. how far do you go back? You can't compare players we already have and it's not like The Welsh Xavi was bought instead of Ali. Still we missed a cracker there!

27 Mar 2016 09:06:23
I don't believe it was e 5m, it was wages and a potential to challenge for a starting role that saw us lose out. Huge miss there, particularly as he was actually needed and a fan. Hopefully Grujic helps ease the disappointment, think he could be just like him if we're lucky.

27 Mar 2016 09:43:31
Well believe it or not delli Ali would have faded away at lfc just like many other promising youth players have. It's great for the lads career that he went to tottenham and got the right manager in pochentino. In two years he'd probably achieve more. Tottenham are allowing him to express and play his way which is very crucial for youth players. He will be a big reason if they win the title this year. I absolutely hate Tottenham but this is true they have a very smart setup from youth to owners. I hope under klipperty things change and we cultivate youth. I hv been waiting for two decades now since the last academy product from our beloved club took the league by storm.

27 Mar 2016 11:38:12
Yes, credit has to go to Pochetino. Let's see how he gets on next season.

28 Mar 2016 01:44:50
Spot on, akshit. Knowing BR, he would have prolly played Alli at DM or wing back instead of harnessing his true potential as Poch did. Personally, don't care about players at other clubs as I'm more interested in our players and their progress here so Alli didn't signe here. Who cares? Focus on your own players at LFC and let other teams focus on theirs.

28 Mar 2016 03:16:16
hear, hear I hope that deli alli does not get swallowed up by the hype, he has many highs and lows still to come, he is only 19 remember, gutted we did not sign him but let's concentrate on our own youngsters namely ojo.

26 Mar 2016 18:22:20
Eds what do you think of ally cissoko of Newcastle. I reckon would be a decent signing and add a bit of muscle to our mid?

Believable0 Unbelievable9

{Ed001's Note - not for me mate, not impressed with his attitude at all. Ability is there, but he is not using it.}

26 Mar 2016 18:43:46
Ally played for us you mean moussa.

26 Mar 2016 19:32:39
Yes sorry bud had a few beers. Don't fancy taking him back lol.

26 Mar 2016 17:02:03
Hi ed001,

Do you rate Ter Stegen? I think a goalkeeper will be our most important signing in the summer and we need quality. Not sure if I'm convinced by him.

I always thought Sirigu would be a better option myself. I don't know about many other goalkeepers to be honest, would be interesting to hear the eds opinion.

Believable0 Unbelievable7

{Ed001's Note - he looked a really good prospect before joining Barca, but his career stalled there and he has looked a bit dodgy since.}

26 Mar 2016 19:08:01
Sirigu is an awful keeper! Poor on crosses and doesn't command his area. Plus he's knocking 30 now and at the wrong end of his career.

26 Mar 2016 19:32:34
I do not know / haven't seen enough of Sirigu to comment on his ability but at 29 he is far from past it for a goalkeeper.

26 Mar 2016 19:35:10
Begovic for me all day long and I think he'd jump at chance to be our no1 solid keeper is exactly what we need and wouldn't break the bank.

26 Mar 2016 21:20:02
Only thing about begovic is he refused to leave for us before and would have been no.1 choice then went to chelsea to get splinters in his ass. to me when he has played for them he hasn't looked the same.

27 Mar 2016 09:13:50
Exactly the reason I wouldn't touch Begovic, said the same previously, don't understand why he went to Chelsea at his age just to be their reserve keeper. Not sure I want him at Anfield - not because he might have turned is down but because I have questions about his attitude.

27 Mar 2016 12:23:37
Confident Ter Stegen would be a success at Liverpool and hope it comes off in the summer. Given a starting spot and playing regularly would be a huge benefit to him.

{Ed002's Note - He is very expensive, has hardly played for two years and Liverpool are looking elsewhere for a replacement for Bogdan.}

28 Mar 2016 01:46:33
Timo Horn of Cologne is the one for me.

{Ed007's Note - You just want to get his name and number on your shirt!}

26 Mar 2016 14:06:19
EMS has now become MKS.

I've permanently relocated now and come with good news. I have finally found myself a job (woohoo! ) and I am now also engaged to my beautiful Fiancée.

Thanks for all the supportive messages regarding the redundancy though lads. Special mention to Stuie who even contacted me regarding the company he works for.

Name change was in order though as technically I'm no longer in the East Midlands.

Believable13 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Is it safe on the Mekong now?}

26 Mar 2016 14:21:18
Dissapointed to see your avatar image go off.

26 Mar 2016 14:41:48
Last I heard you where single lol.

26 Mar 2016 14:52:08
Congrats mate, wish you all the best. Always enjoy your posts.

26 Mar 2016 14:54:44
Ed002 I think you're confusing Corby with Vietnam. An easy mistake ;)

Sorry Harry. If you google Kardashian I'm sure you can find it for yourself ;)

And Mikey, things move fast nowadays haha. I'm a 90's baby. We do it differently to you pensioners from the 80's ;)

26 Mar 2016 14:58:47
Does MK stand for Mrs Kardashian?

26 Mar 2016 15:38:01
Congrats MKS best of luck with the job.

26 Mar 2016 15:50:10
Pensioner? : (
I'm still not married after 6 years and 2 kids haha.

26 Mar 2016 16:03:57
If she really loves you Mikey, she'll propose mate.

26 Mar 2016 16:17:24
Double congratulations MKS glad things are on the up. Hope your change in fortunes rubs off on the redmen now too, cheers.

26 Mar 2016 16:21:51
Thanks 5GoldStars and Barry.

Not quite Reet ;) good guess though!

And Mikey I echo Daves sentiment. Although this year was a leap year so she's missed her chance. Maybe you should ask her? Haha.

26 Mar 2016 16:45:49
How are you doing now Alexi? I know what it's like but all I'll say is you never forget but it does get easier mate.

26 Mar 2016 17:01:14
Congrats on the double this season MK, all the best and well done mate.

26 Mar 2016 17:38:53
Good work Adam. Congrats!

I have to say, you getting hit on by three different posters in one week is my highlight of the year on this site.

26 Mar 2016 20:50:02
Thanks for asking MKS I'm ok, been watching the England cricket and now the Footy v Germany. I am officiating on my first game since dad's accident tomorrow as assistant ref on a local district cup final. I have a photo of my dad after refereed a junior final at the same venue in 1984 so it seemed fitting to return back to the game at that venue where he looked so happy on his own cup final. Thanks for all your thoughts mate, I'm sure there'll still be ups and downs emotionally but I have a lovely family to support me to, my wife and son are stars and I've also mum, my brother and sister so we can all keep an eye on each other whenever one of us needs holding up. Hope your new job goes well and the wedding plans are short mate! ;-)

27 Mar 2016 09:49:46
Thanks everyone. And it's good to hear that you're on the up Alexi. It's hard when people you love are suddenly gone. My Grandad died when I was really young after an accident. I don't really remember him but what I do remember is seeing my dad cry. I had never seen it before and I've never seen it since. It was absolutely awful. He put on a brave face and went back to work the next day but I could see how hard it was for him. It cannot be underestimated how hard it must've been for you to get back out there. So well done mate. We're all proud of you; especially your dad.

27 Mar 2016 19:17:52
Cheers MKS, I must admit it was a distraction today and I was able to enjoy it. The game was played in difficult conditions ending 0-0 AET and 3-0 on penalties to Westminster.
I had a special moment thinking of dad at the presentation our our mementoes. Thank you everyone, hopefully my family can also find something to focus on and help their healing process. Very early days but the knowledge that dad's fellow LFC family are all wishing us well keeps us going too. To all who are in pain themselves or grieving for a loved one right now I wish you and you families the very best, may you find strength, comfort and peace. xx.

{Ed023's Note - Lovely post and I'm sorry for your loss, YNWA}

27 Mar 2016 19:31:59
Thanks Ed023, all your fellow Eds have been most kind also. Love the site and appreciate all your dedication Eds. :-)

{Ed023's Note - No problem bud - we need to stick together in times like this - keep your head up}

26 Mar 2016 13:29:08
I think it's time for another podcast featuring Harry! All in favor say I.

Believable3 Unbelievable9

26 Mar 2016 14:27:59
Recovered from the last one already?

26 Mar 2016 13:53:09

26 Mar 2016 13:53:09

26 Mar 2016 15:17:52
Mikey that podcast featuring Harry was the best thing that's ever happened to me in my life ever. I still have visions of Harry and tumbleweed to this day! Please buttercup (eds001) can we have some more!

{Ed001's Note - just because it is you that is asking, never again....}

26 Mar 2016 16:29:29
You PUNT Eds 001. Flippin auto correct lol.

{Ed001's Note - you say the sweetest things.}

26 Mar 2016 18:25:20
Seriously did you use a love potion on harry 😂. The comments since your first date haha.

{Ed001's Note - I just have that effect on women....}

27 Mar 2016 03:22:26
I think you've got the wrong idea if Harry is your idea of a woman 😂.

{Ed001's Note - you've never met her though.}

26 Mar 2016 10:45:15
Eds do we have interest in Hector?

Believable0 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - Use the search engine.}

26 Mar 2016 12:32:03
Cheers mate, had a good look through, not much on him tbh. I guess depends on what happens with Moreno.

26 Mar 2016 13:35:16
Hector has been quoted in Bild saying if Klopp came calling, he would defo listen to him. Take that for what is worth, Forever.

26 Mar 2016 09:59:45
Wow wow wow. Ed01 is stunning. Thanks for making up mate. Truly special time. What a prevelage. So much talking and so much knowledge being shared.
Truly Mr. Liverpool.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

{Ed001's Note - nice to meet you too Harry. And I am not just saying that because you have me locked in the basement and refuse to let me leave unless I say it. Honest....}

26 Mar 2016 10:52:14
Lol. Mission completed, Next up Mission Ed02. Still left me wandering about the gender.

26 Mar 2016 11:26:58
I wonder about ems tbh 😂 all the signs say male but that pic.

26 Mar 2016 12:12:02
I'd be interested to hear what Ed would think of the knowledge being shared.

If Ed starts saying we need 3 defensive midfielders then Harry has brain washed him ;o)

{Ed001's Note - and Kovacic...}

26 Mar 2016 12:57:55
Ed how many different accents did Harry bring along with him?

{Ed001's Note - just 35. He began with a Norwegian one and ended with a French one.}

26 Mar 2016 13:50:11
Ginja if you must know, I am gender-less. I have ascended above mere human form and thus have no physical sexuality. I believe in my past form though I was a male with one memorable hobby in particular which involved womens clothing.

26 Mar 2016 14:10:45
Everyone who has been on this site long enough know EMS is really Adam ;) that picture doesn't fool me.

26 Mar 2016 13:54:27
Lol Ed01, Never knew in between you had a clue on Norsk language. I have Spanish and German for you next time. Ha ha.

{Ed001's Note - do you use Google translate? Only that would explain a thing or two....}

26 Mar 2016 13:54:27
Lol Ed01, Never knew in between you had a clue on Norsk language. I have Spanish and German for you next time. Ha ha.

{Ed001's Note - do you use Google translate? Only that would explain a thing or two....}

26 Mar 2016 14:52:36
So ed, how is Stockholm syndrome working out for you?

{Ed001's Note - it is......fun. I have gained an intimate understanding of the greatness and importance of Mateo Kovacic to world football. In fact life in general.}

26 Mar 2016 16:06:50
Only now your learning this Ed01? Wake up, eat breakfast, pray to Kovacic? Or is this not a normal routine?

{Ed001's Note - it is new to me mate. My eyes have been opened.}

26 Mar 2016 23:43:50
Norwegian is the unofficial continental Scouse accent.

26 Mar 2016 09:54:27
Has anyone made such an impact in such a short space of time as David Speedie did?

Goal against United on his debut, two against Everton in his next game and six goals in nine starts and three sub appearances.

Short Liverpool career but that's an impressive CV!

Believable4 Unbelievable4

27 Mar 2016 03:09:30
Randomly, he interviewed me for a job many years ago. It was bizarre.

26 Mar 2016 08:45:39
Ed1 has woken up in a bath full of ice, and no kidney.

26 Mar 2016 06:12:15
Hello Ed01. Could you come to the place in an hour time? Please let me know a shop name I could wait?

Cheers mate.

Believable0 Unbelievable4

{Ed001's Note - food court mate. That is the easiest as it is on the top floor and you can see all around it. I will see you there in an hour.}

26 Mar 2016 06:21:44
Brilliant. See you in an hour time. Got up late mate. Boozing ha ha.

{Ed001's Note - so I will be looking for the hungover guy....}

26 Mar 2016 06:47:11
Lol. Red shots and while stripe shirts. Tall and Handsome. You ll find me. I ll wait outside the food court entrance.

{Ed001's Note - I don't think you will struggle to notice me. There are not many Liverpool shirts around Dubai!}

26 Mar 2016 07:14:59
Reached @food court.

{Ed001's Note - i am just about there now too mate.}

26 Mar 2016 07:46:52
"Red shots and while stripe shirts" 😄

Definitely hungover, good luck Ed. 😆.

{Ed001's Note - it is worse than you could possibly imagine.....}

26 Mar 2016 08:26:53
Turns out there's 8 Harry's. Each with different usernames. They've kidnapped ed and locked him in a basement. There's a tv, constantly repeating kovacic highlights, and ed has started to break down.

26 Mar 2016 09:29:00
I am intrigued to find out how ed001's date went. You guys should have worn a red rose to find each other. I hope none of you performed that scene in the restaurant from when harry met sally. Ohhh ohhh ahhh ahhh lol.

{Ed001's Note - helpppppppppp.......

26 Mar 2016 09:45:25
Well that's ed gone. He will be missed by all of us.

26 Mar 2016 09:56:28
Now that that old fart ed001 is gone i can finally extend my dominance over the sites. You all will bow down to my bendtner level of awesomeness 😎😎😎😎😎.

26 Mar 2016 10:16:50
Lol Benny, Ed01 is younger than me. I was stunned.

{Ed001's Note - and better looking....}

26 Mar 2016 12:59:51
This is actually hilarious.

{Ed001's Note - not as hilarious as Harry's Kovacic tattoo, which seems to have been drawn over the top of a previous one, though I couldn't see who that was of.}

26 Mar 2016 13:27:16
Lorenzo Insigne probably Ed.

26 Mar 2016 13:55:30
EMS

lol you got that perfect. Insigne is my latest crush and is WORLD CLASS.

25 Mar 2016 21:51:32
I was on my laptop just surfing the web, when I came across a site that was showing photos of the best 27 players worldwide who were under 20. Not 1 Liverpool player was on that list. Arsenal had 2, Spurs had 2 West Ham 1, Man City 1 and Man U 3. My question to the Eds is, are our youngsters not as good as we make them out to be. I don't know much about our U21's so could someone please tell me how many games they have won and how many they have lost this season. Thanks.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed001's Note - impossible to say, but the best 27 is very subjective. How do you judge them? They are usually judged on things like stats, which mean even less at that age. Our U21s has some great talents in it, a lot of the problem we have had is that they were ignored by the previous regime and so have stagnated.}

26 Mar 2016 12:35:18
😆 best 27?

Why not best 28? Load of nonsense IMO, Ojo would be in the top 5.

26 Mar 2016 13:52:00
I remember back in the day when why had signed or were in the process of signing Anthony Le Tallec and he was in one of these "top European youngsters" lists. How did he do? Some will be great and some wont. Just like some won't be on any lists and have great careers. They mean very little.

26 Mar 2016 17:02:13
Making such lists is nonsense.
