Can I ask those itk, and everybody who loves football.

Who is considered Liverpool best ever striker? Kenny was more a midfielder or attacking mid. Ian Rush? Robbie fowler? Or even mo salah? Torres? Mane? Owen?

I'd have thought Ian rush.

Fowler most natural I’ve ever seen.

I should add Firmino. Love him, hope starts firing though.

nobody is going to beat ian rush's goalscoring record.
Fowler for me would have got round about the 200 mark if he didn't suffer injuries and the twin stupidity of phil Thompson and Gerrard Houllier.
No better partnership imo than the Rush and Daglish link up.

Rush was the best, he scored to most.

30 Nov 2019 18:47:49
And who is the most underrated? Cisse? Aldridge? Firmino? Good ole titi camara.

30 Nov 2019 19:13:15
for me best is rush
most natural is fowler
loved aldridge as well.

30 Nov 2019 19:14:03
Very possibly Aldridge for the most underrated. Fantastic example of great scouting from the lower leagues.

30 Nov 2019 19:25:15
Mane must have a good shout at most underrated. He is so good.

30 Nov 2019 19:34:17
Rushie.

I know there's a lot of ill feeling about him because of the chaos that he caused at our club, but Luis Suarez was a one-man wrecking ball that nearly won us the league.

I can't believe that he's been completely omitted from the debate. I'd say Ian Rush, but he did really well with the players around him. Suarez was a force of his own and so completely mental, as most genius are.

{Ed025's Note - the reason he does not get considered epic is because he is a racist scumbag, a total low life who digraced himself and liverpool football club with his horrible pathetic antics, some things trancend football and and people like him should never be lauded under any circumstances mate..

Ian Rush best striker and first defender.

30 Nov 2019 21:01:40
We’ve had some great strikers. Kenny, Keegan, Toashak, Aldo, Robbie, Torres etc.

Stand outs for me, Rushie and the one everyone has missed - Rodger Hunt!

{Ed047's Note - 41 goals in 41 games to get you back into the top flight in ‘62 isn’t bad going.

30 Nov 2019 21:29:14
Good shout Drogie.
Jesus saves but Hunt scores the rebound.

30 Nov 2019 21:47:12
Yikes, Ed047! Roger Hunt scored 41 in 41 games? I don't care the era he played in BUT those are unbelievable numbers.

{Ed047's Note - that’s in part why the Liverpool fans gave him the honorary title Sir Roger Hunt.

A big part of Sir Alfs ‘66 squad too.

30 Nov 2019 21:59:32
245 goals!

30 Nov 2019 23:56:13
"Sir" Roger Hunt is well deserved.

Ed25 hits the nail on the head regarding the rat.
