What a brilliant pass by Henderson into Mane to create the goal for Firmino! Henderson looked very comfortable on the ball and played some great passes. Keita really adds something different to the team and his runs into the box are creating goal chances!
Good solid performance all round and it was great to keep a clean sheet.

Spot on wombat. Also i thought that was the Joe Gomes of last season. Played with confidence and seemed switched on every time he was needed.
Lallana is playing his part as well. Our squad even with the injuries to Fabinho, Lovren seems to be coping with everything.

Totally agree on Gomez, he was excellent yesterday.
Quick, good distribution and brought the ball out very well.
To have both central defenders capable of this adds so much to the team and makes us much more capable of beating the forward press from opponents, something that will certainly be needed at Leicester.
Another tough game but the lads got it over the line again.

Gomez was excellent, I dunno about you guys but I wouldn't swap him for maguire. Joe brought the ball out brilliantly.
I really like keita but tbh I thought he dallied on the ball a bit last night
And lallana was a little better last night but still didn't do much.
Henderson was magnificent. He's world class.

He has been quite consistent when playing in his preferred position.
Hence, we shouldn't be too critical when a player was forced to play out of position. There aren't many players that are versatile who can play in multiple positions effectively.

Of course he is not world class, he wouldn't claim he was. However he has grown into being a top class captain, better than Gerrard as a captain. Always does the best for the team, top class attitude, play any position for the good of the team, never a bother off the field. Got time for everyone around the club, none of this Billy big balls.
Hendo also gave one of the best ever Anfield performances from midfield agains't Barcelona he was incredible. Been our best midfielder this year as well.
{Ed025's Note - im not questioning his attributes mark, he gives 100% in every game and is very vocal and has good leadership...but world class?...not for me mate..

Definitely not world class, that word is thrown around too much for me these days. What we have is a few world class players surrounded by more great players creating a world class team and Jordan is Captain of that world class team.
The others look up to him and respect him, the manager loves him, he gives his all every time he is on the pitch, he puts the other players ahead of himself and he's a model professional off the pitch. When you can label him with all these things you don't need to go over-the-top and starting throwing "world class" around because it opens him up to criticism and ridicule when all those things I already mentioned are praise enough as it is, any other player would love to be thought of as such.

I hear what your all saying but in his position, doing what he does, winning trophies now and barely losing a game in an age if that doesn't constitute world class then what do you have to do to qualify?
Be a media darling? Have better stepovers? Score 45 a season?
Hes captaining a virtually unstoppable side, if that doesn't add up to world class then nowt does.

{Ed025's Note - world class means exactly what it says on the tin, ronaldo and messi are world class..then a level below you get your salah,s, bale, kante, KDB, stirling etc, look another 4 tiers down and you find your hendo,s of this world, not very gifted but works very hard and wont let you down...i hope that helps..merry xmas mate..

Hendo is not world class and frankly, I'm not arsed about any of that rubbish. IMO, We don't need Hendo to be world class just so some fans can have a shouting match about it with rival fans. We need him to be the Hendo we know and love. The one who controls the team's tempo and has excellent decision-making skills when in and out of possession and at the same time, is a very intelligent footballer who can anticipate danger and snuff it out, all while being a brilliant extension of Klopp's ethos on the field of play. As long as he is doing that, he will continue to be brilliant for us and that's all that should matter to any LFC fan. The rival fans can take a day off, IMO.

I would say Hendo is world class 100%. He’s a mainstay and captain of arguably the best club team in the world. That makes him world class for me.
You can’t compare him to Messi or Ronaldo they are just exceptional. If they are your definition of world class then there have been no world class players ever until those 2. They are the best we’ve ever seen in my opinion.
I would certainly put him in the next level below that though. Not as skilful as Hazard, De Bruyne etc. but for the impact he has on his team and in games he’s right up there for me and surely that’s what it’s about? You don’t have to skin 5 players and bang it in the top corner to consistently have a positive impact on games. Some of the biggest games in club football too.
Ridicule all you want I wouldn’t swap Hendo for anyone.

I think he is world class. There are not many cms of the same mould that are better. Kdb is probably the only cm better in the Premier league. CL winner, super cup winner and world Cup club winner. Wc semi finalist. Pl runner up and soon to be Pl winner.

Ed025, how many tiers down will we find the Everton squad? You are right as this talk of 'World Class' always causes debate. Henderson is not a world class footballer and only a handful of players are.
He has a world class attitude and is a dedicated, honest pro. On ability there are a few midfielders who are superior and I'm sure Henderson would know that himself.
{Ed025's Note - thats a fair relection of it greenflash, everton players will be in the bottom tier mate if saturday was anything to go by, i dont make any excuses for them..
