I see Thiago is a doubt for tomorrow and was very unlikely to play anyway but what is the actual injury he has? Sorry if this has been posted before.

That’s 6 games he would have missed plus his international trip with Spain.

That challenge did more damage than expected, clearly.

Yes, but it could also be his recovery time compared to other players. Remember he does come with an injury list portfolio. Some players take longer to recover and feel every niggle, a bit like Matip.

Rumouts of him being made of glass are starting to feel worryingly true.

Irish I’m sure someone put a good post on a while back shooting down the Thiago injury theorists when some fans were adamant we shouldn’t sign him. I can’t remember for a fact what all of it was but off the top of my head it was something like he had only had something like 2 injuries and his appearances only look low per season in Germany as they have less league fixtures and only 1 cup.

I can categorically guarantee he has certainly had more than 2 injuries in his career JK.

{Ed002's Note - He has suffered many injuries over the years.}

Irish might have been 2 long term ones mate. Every single footballer regardless of what level have more than 2 injuries in their careers. Just had a quick look now and
19/ 20 he played or was available 25 out of 34 league games and 10 out of 11 CL games.
18/ 19- 30 league games out of 34 and 5 out of 8 CL
17/ 18 - 20 out of 34 league and 10 out of 12 cl.
I wouldn’t say it’s that terrible a record mate. 17/ 18 was his biggest one but last two seasons have been decent numbers. Probably find quite a few of our players have missed similar percentage through niggles.

Hardly made of glass Robbie when he’s missed games for us so far due to C.V. and a horror tackle from richarlison.

06 Nov 2020 20:59:17
Im sure Richalisons tackle would make a lot of players seem made of glass. what rubbish!

07 Nov 2020 08:05:23
His injury was a rotten tackle that hurt him from the impact and not any relation to injury struggles. To say 6 games out is long time when we've played every midweek and weekend so 5 games he's missed has been just over 2 and a half weeks. Before that was the virus so hardly represents a problem that will keep happening.
