Congratulations to Connor Bradley. Played the full 90 as Bolton smashed Plymouth 4-0 to win the EFL Trophy. What a season the young man is having.

I really hope he is given the chance to push Trent next season.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up MK, why play the kids when you could play a 38 year old James Milner out of position?

I think Bradley stays as cover unless we get a good offer and Ramsay goes out on loan. Bradley home grown. Ramsay isn’t yet.

AW, can you blame Klopp though, when you consider how far Foden got to when facing Milner, compared to how well Grealish did when facing TAA? It's tactical strategy, and I guess Klopp told himself "to hell with it, we're away from home, I'm going to go for it".

Why exactly should Ramsey sent out for a loan @Onekiss?

I’ve harped on a few times about loving to see an Northern Ireland player in a Liverpool shirt but if I’m being completely honest I can’t see it being Bradley and I think Klopp signing Ramsey maybe believes it too. Just my opinion and I would love this post to be put up in 2 or 3 seasons and rub my face in it. We shall see.

Bring Bradley back till he has a bad game!
Then the heroes come out and tell him to get a rope?!?!?

Foden tore Milner apart last season and Milner was lucky not to be sent off.

Milner hasn't had a position since about 2019 as well, he looks awkward wherever he plays. Work rate looks higher than it is because of his ability to make simple things look extremely difficult. Sooner we stop this one-year contract nonsense and move him on the better.

Spot on Thomas. He is constantly lunging into tackles that seem to get people to applaud him. If he wasn't constantly out of position or frantically trying to recover he wouldn't have to do it. The opposite problem to Trent.

Trent can't be bothered but has the legs. Milner can be bothered but doesn't have the legs. Can we morph them together? Milners head on Trents body. Like in "Mars Attacks".

He's been playing games as have TAA and Milner which is a good thing, isn't it?

03 Apr 2023 11:00:08
Probably spot on MK, 2023 Milner is the equivalent of a broken TV being sold on ebay as "spares and repairs". Perhaps we could donate his head to Trent

Irrelevant sidenote by the way, who on earth is buying broken TVs to use the parts? Never understood that one.

In fairness to Milner he’s been a great addition to the club over the years and I’ve seen that his leadership qualities are fantastic.

However his and Hendo’s leadership on the pitch hasn’t appeared to stop some of our performances falling off the cliff. I know we say it’s hard to put young players in when we are winning games or losing them so when is the best time to play them?

As it stands Milner at 37 has 1 thousand minutes of League and CL football this season and Jones and Carvalho have 700 odd minutes combined.

Perhaps it’s time to look to the future and give some of the youngsters an opportunity in the last 11 games.

What’s the worst that’s going to happen. We going to get beaten. Well that’s already happening more often than not with our superstars.

{Ed001's Note - kids learn more by losing. It is a nonsense that has no real basis this talk of protecting them. They need real experience, not a few minutes when the team is already 3 nil up.}
