Nike have done well I think bar this seasons white kit, home kits relatively plain and let the designers have a bit of fun with the 2nd and 3rd kits is how i've always thought it should be done.

The kit is nowhere near as horrible at the football we play away from home.
I don't see us dumping Nike under FSG ownership. They took a pretty big penalty on the previous deal to get this opportunity and will want to derive maximum value from it.
The Nike designers will be taking feedback from the fans along the way no doubt, like all huge brands do. And the number of sales will be a pretty simple marker for whether they are liked by the customer or not.
Don't forget the clubs have fans all over the world. Colours, styles, patterns etc will vary.
The Warrior/ NB stuff was awful at first but the designs got better year after year.

The Nike home kits have been spot on. The away ones are questionable particularly the white abomination. But to suggest the home ones are terrible is ludicrous. Plain, simple and on trend. The shade of red reminds me of prime Chicago Bulls. Cool as.
