Klopp should have the players in this morning and practice their finishing the last several games we could of scored around 20 goals we could of had seven in Sundays game against the mancs in the first half. By the way not a fan of anthony taylor but thought he had a great game yesterday.

On a separate note if Jota and Trent ( possibly Ali) are due back this week then we have Atalanta coming up where they can get minutes.
Maybe its a chance to give one or 2 of Salah, Nunez or Diaz a break on Thu night as they have played a lot of football recently.
No doubts the amount of chances they have mossed recently will be a factor on their minds and when it comes to chances they are consciously thinking about it rather than sub consciously.

The finishing problem is nothing new. Has been an issue during Klopp's tenure. We compete because our chance creation numbers are outrageously high, offsetting the profligacy.
What makes our forwards so intense and threatening probably also works against their calmness in front of goal or in the final ball. I don't think this problem is unique to our club by the way. Football decided to make wingers into forwards and attacking midfielders into pressing machines.
I doubt we'll fix it in the next 6 weeks. We'll just have to keep producing the chances and hope we do enough in the remaining games.
Having Jota back, even if off the bench will help. And Trent's assists and switches are being missed. Hopefully Mo's struggles are related to his fasting rather than a bigger issue.

Trent and Jota coming back will be massive. That being said, I came across a worrying stat this afternoon that we only have 1 win against the big 6 all season. And that win was against Chelsea, who let be honest are not even a top 6 side at present. And in a number of those matches we had everyone fit so can’t even use the excuse of, if this player comes back or if we had that player available it would have been a different outcome.
I still have faith we can win both competitions still up for grabs. Yes tall order, but not impossible. I also think a change of formation, system, tactics, players coming in and some going out this summer is actually a good thing. But, let’s deal with the present in hopefully getting over the finishing line, both in the league and Europa. Amorim announced as our new manager and Klopp winning the treble would be a perfect close to one chapter and beginning of another.

Alonso its correct what you have said but the win was against Villa and not Chelsea mate of the current top 6.
From the current top 6 we have the lowest points gained from matches amongst ourselves.

I am sure Klopp thinks of shooting practice, but after that yesterday, then it is obviously not good enough practice they are getting. This has cost us the champions league against Madrid. We had so many chances and we were caught out. Madrid scored their goal. A bit like yesterday, only we were able to get a draw after not taking chances.
One last thing Burkey, practice makes perfect obvious that you have never kicked a ball lad .

@Iwillbered, stop projecting and miss me with the ITK rubbish. So you think cos we are struggling suddenly must mean that Klopp and the guys are not doing any finishing sessions? Is that how you function in life? Every club at near every level practise finishing drills and movements so stop acting like you are some ITK on the matter. Historically under Klopp, we have NOT been taking anywhere near enuff of our chances in relation to the amount of chances we actually create and this has been the case since Klopp walked in the door, if you have actually been paying attention thru out Klopp's years.
I hear people saying Mane or Bobbie would have scored, forgetting that they were guilty of squandering loads and loads of chances themselves esp. Mane and Salah. I guess nostalgia does funny things to people.
The issue we have here is that there is poor decision-making, shot selecttion and a lack of composure in our whole attack at the minute that even more practice may not even fix BUT we have to keep working hard on it in training thru well, MORE shooting and finishing sessions.
