I’ve just been told that representatives from two German clubs - Bayern Munich and, interestingly, Borussia Dortmund - have met with Cody Gakpo’s representatives over the past week.

Gakpo seems like he would be open to a move to the Bundesliga, with the next step, being club-to-club discussions.



As for Liverpool’s stance, I honestly don’t know. This information has come from someone not connected to LFC.

Personally, I know Cody didn't have the best season just gone, but none of our players did.

I think with a good coach and in the team he would be well worth keeping. The market for wingers isn't the greatest at the moment, so stick rather than twist, and give Rio time to learn and progress with an experienced player there.

I've been noticing quite recently that posts from on here have been screenshotted and put on X. That then starts its own little debate. 😂

As everyone has said, it's a free site with the option of scrolling and reading people's views, and within a few visits, you start to learn who talks sense and who talks absolute waffle.

With respect, everybody is speculating on rumours, they have heard or read. Nobody mentioned Munoz on this site. The lads that come on may have genuine sources, but what I have found lately The club is running a tight ship.

That is why it is so quiet. The only major link is Barcola and that is coming from Romano and his sources.

It's been posted on here many times about the club clamping down on leaks from within. Since then, there's been more breaches than the Titanic, with 2 or 3 more new ITKs on here each week, all claiming to have insider news. I'm not advocating for what the OP is suggesting, but they have a point.



I'd suggest about 10% of ITKs on here are genuine, whereas the others are seeking a dopamine hit in the form of likes.

The best info on here in the transfer window always include a hairdresser to a wife's cousin or a mate of a mate who works in the canteen or on the reception desk at our training centre.

Any 100% genuine actual news comes from the official club site. Of course there are people who provide genuine information, even if not everybody believes it when they see it, which is fine and there are people like me who "hear" things which may or may not be the result of a vivid imagination and that's cool too.



I'm sure a lot of people don't like what they read from time to time (dare I say even the stuff I write 😳) and that's fine too, but what I can't support is clowns saying people can't write what they want and only those with 100% factually correct (and presumably 100% verified) input can contribute to the site.

When Harvey came back from his loan at Blackburn, he was pretty amped by Wharton, which is why I was pretty miffed as to how he ended up at Palace. His range of passing doesn't suit them, he plays in the pockets of space created by our wing backs, I would of thought Bournemouth or Leeds would of been a better draw.

Anyway, if we do sign him, I think we can say goodbye to our Argentine.

The confidence from him is that the clubs have an understanding of transfer fees and want to move forward. Palace want a replacement first, personal terms are done.

Players we bring in don't have to be world class. Players need to add to the squad based upon their capability to improve the squad in the way that the head coach wants the team / squad to play. Or, in the case of, say, Diomande Barcola, Rayan Ad, perhaps Wharton can bring in terms of potential in terms of football skills and character / personality in terms of building squad spirit.

As an aside, I'm not sure about Wharton but I'm not privy to the information or assessments of players that the club have, or the cake that the club places on potential signings. Just putting forward a view because it sometimes seems that it's do or die with anything but the best in the world being dismissed out of hand.

My view hasn’t changed. As far as I’m aware Liverpool are not signing both Diomande and Barcola. I said back in June that Liverpool have moved on from Diomande due to the fall out with Rocnation.



Barcola is the player Liverpool are actively working towards, we are in discussion with his agents.

I’ve been told bid to go in soon to test the waters with PSG.

Eki-tea cake, why is it obvious to everyone? Last season, we spent over £100m on two players and signed Ekitike for over £80m... It is not hard to believe we would do the same again for both BB and YD. They would transform our attack. Are they value for money? Hard to say, personally, if you want quality and lower financial risk, I would sign Torres and Rayan, but no doubt about signing both BB and YD will massively improve this side and get us out of our seats next season.

YD is raw, but he seems to me an output merchant, which is the most important thing for attackers.

First time poster here... I am not someone who knows ins and outs of Liverpool Football Club, but I work in a sports related industry in the City of London and there are rumours going around that Liverpool have preliminary agreed deals for both Yan Diomande & Bradley Barcola of RB Leipzing & Paris St. Germain respectively for around 225 million euros in total. I believe that the fee for Diomande is 120m euros & Barcola 105m euros.

Personal terms have been discussed and have been agreed, I am told, and was straightforward. I do not know details of the contracts or salaries.



I am told that both will be signed within the next 10 to 14 days. All that is left to do is structure of finance payments for both players which is currently being discussed by Liverpool with both clubs.

Also been told that John Stones is set to sign for Everton on a free transfer. Should be completed in next 7 days.

Just passing on what I have been told. Please don't blame me if it does not happen, sometimes deals get pulled at the last minute due to a whole host of different reasons.

Thanks to all the replies. Just passing on info on what has been discussed internally. Obviously, this info is confidential and I have to be careful how I get the info.

What I do know, and has been reported, is that FSG have been approached for minor investment, and if all goes through, then effectively FSG are in for basically free, i.e.

they have recouped most, if not all, what they paid for Liverpool even with expenses on new stands, etc. Astute business, if you ask me.

I have asked about other potential signings Liverpool related but not got an update yet, but when I do, I will post again on here.

Makes sense, like I said a while back, Liverpool was looking at both, not a 1 or the other situation, Barcola is the easier signing, if PSG get their targets.

I think after all the press he got at the WC him being linked to top teams was inevitable. I don't think he was good at the WC as people say he was, but he was definitely a level above where he has been for Spurs.

I am not as massively anti-Spence as Ed001 is, I think there is potentially a player in there if he is in a less chaotic environment than Spurs and if he sorts his positioning out. Plus the fact that he can play both sides is a bonus.

But, to buy him now, you'd be paying the "had a decent World Cup" premium, you'd be paying the english premium, you'd be paying the "spurs don't seem strapped for cash and don't want to lose him" premium, and you'd be paying the "player isn't going to push hard for a move because he doesn't seem the sort" premium.

That, plus the fact that he's currently not significantly better than what we have in the squad, makes it all very unlikely I think.

I wouldn't be sad if Spence was a Liverpool player, I would be annoyed if it meant that we prioritised him over other more important incomings.

He has lapses in concentration, which lead to him losing the ball or his man, more often than not. He is unbelievably quick though, and can usually make up for any mistakes.

If he can keep his concentration and be aware of what's around him when waiting for a pass, he'll do well for any club to be honest.
