I can’t see the fuss with him. Genuinely don’t see the point in having him. If we want to improve by replacing Gomez/ Matip for the CB pairing with Virg. It would have to be someone much better than Carlos IMO.

Carlos partner at Sevilla, Jules Kounde, looks to be a superb young defender. Unfortunately it looks like he might be off to City.

Kounde? In not one facet of the game is he better than Carlos. He’s also very small for a CB - 5’11. Ake and Kounde getting dunked at the back post all game would be a sorry sight.

No disrespect thunderbird. But do you not think that if Kounde was the better option, that Barcelona and Real would be chasing his signature rather than Carlos? Especially given they have the luxury of seeing both each week.
I personally don’t want a CB signed to take JG’s place. I think he has the talent to be the top class CB we crave.
If we were to sign a CB, I’d like Upmecano personally.

Rm I agree mate. I like Fab in the midfield and I like Gomez or Matip alongside VVD. Fabs versatility is a great option for Klopp though with us being loaded with midfielders and slightly short at the back.

Juande is better than Carlos but I can't understand how Lfc fans don't realise that Joe Gomez is aswell.
