As things currently stand with the squad do people see Tyler Morton as the main challenger to Endo to play the number 6.
Bajcetic, may well be the better long term prospect but will need to be carefully handled given his light frame and the best part of a year out injured.
Morton never looked out of place in the team on his few first team outings and has done well on loan at Hull this season.
I think he'll be ahead of Endo by the end of the season and will be involved much more than people anticipate (League Cup, FA Cup and as the second player in a double pivot when utilised)
I fully expect a number 6 to be brought in but don't forget about Morton. He could prove to be the clubs breakout player for 24/25.

I think stefan needs to go
Out on loan for a season he needs to play week in week out now and has poor disciplinary issues being late a lot which will not be good at a lower physical team maybe Ipswich would be good for him for a year then he can replace endo. Loand seems help morton.

No we defs need a number 6 who has some athleticism and pace. Especially if the two alongside with be Mac / elliot jones or grav.

Not good enough. If we want to be challenging City Arsenal, our defensive midfielder needs to be Rodri/ Rice level
Depends what the ambitions are I suppose.

Ed001 has alluded to it a few times, but Slot doesn’t necessarily play with a 6. He plays a more old school 2 man midfield and it’s normally multifunctional players who can do a bit of everything. Koopmeiners will hopefully be signed and I personally think if he does, we might see Trent or Macca alongside him.

If it is 2 out of kloopmeiners, trent + mac we still won't be good enough defensively to progress upwards from 3rd imo. A more defensive minded player with a bit of size and physicality is what I would like to see along with trent. Mac as a 10.

Exactly, Ed BUT who cares about any of that? If anyone wants to know how Slot plays, the information is out there.

Out of the two centre midfielders slo plays with, one of them is very defensive minded midfielder, Mats Wieffer, any idea that we can get remotely close to winning the league without a top class defensive midfielder is pie in the sky. As long as we don’t address that we will be soft in the middle. Not convinced that Koopmeiners is the answer as he’s just another square peg in a round hole.

Ed001-Because it doesn't fit the narrative of whining about our players. I think the squad is pretty good to be honest. Main problem recently tactically IMO. Few tweaks and no reason why this squad shouldn't be challenging.
