Reece James is a much better player than Trent, aside from crossing Trent has nothing, and a terrible defender contrary to ed 001 opinion.

Tbf I love Trent but Reece James is very very good as well. Powerful, can beat a man and has great delivery. Wouldn’t have him over Trent but definitely over wan Bissaka or Walker.

Spot on, Ed01. I thought I was the only one who clocked it. Reece James is terrible defensively one on one and his crossing ability is woeful. Better defender than Trent? Laughable. I think the Chelsea fan boys have infested SM (and here clearly) cos they started this whole useless comparison cos they know that Reece or AWB would do well to even come near what TAA had already accomplished as a teenager.

Cos they can't bash him for his accomplishments (as if defending had nothing to do with reaching those heights), they come up with this rubbish of "he can't defend". I mean, like he did when he shut down Neto from Wolves? Sane vs City at 19? Coutinho vs Barcelona n countless others? Again when Reece or AWB have been voted the best RB in Europe and in the PL (twice in a row), they can come chat to me.

There are things that are blasphemous to say and comparison such as these is what is responsible for the current state of Jordan Ibe. Reece is a decent prospect, why not give him time to develop before the "over the roof" hype? Shocking really. Smh.
