Bajcetic, once again played very well tonight. And Milner put in another gut busting performance. Better not to say anything about the rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

I feel like a broken record but we are missing an opportunity to upgrade on keita and ox and get better as a team . A quality defensive minded player plus an attack minded who can replace them 2 as they aren't the future . We got proper catfished with keita .

@Hailstones, admire your persistence mate. We aren’t getting one unless someone is injured or leaves. We couldn’t get the one we wanted because he wanted to go to Real Madrid. We are waiting for next summer for a target we. Have identified.

Have been very impressed with Bajcetic too, he's a very young lad but he has the quality Fabinho has to tackle well and stretch his legs to nick the ball, obviously started out as a defender so isn't scared to get stuck in and actually tackles well which is rare for a young midfielder. Also pretty tidy with the ball, I'd expect him to feature this season as soon as we get some kind cup draws.

So out of all the players in world football we are after the 1 golden child in bellingham . No one else can improve our midfield which is our weakest area for this very important season coming up. We are double champions already of next season f. c league and net spend league.

Bajcetic has surprised me with his quality. Works hard, can tackle and has a good pass. But when playing with his back to the opposition (eg when receiving the ball from the GK), he needs to be less afraid to turn and promote it. That will hopefully come as he gets more confident.

Constantly moaning that we need to buy a midfielder is pointless. Unless you can give us some realistic names you are as useful as a wet fart.

I think people need to calm down with these expectations.

The kid if only 17, and his development would be better served maintaining his position in the youth teams. Learning from Fabs and training alongside him will do a world of good. Putting him in FA Cups and League Cups because he had a decent run of games in pre season seems a little naive.

Lad has a future, you can tell. But, in football, anything can happen to a young kid aspiring to be more.

{Ed001's Note - why would his development be better served doing that? The best way to learn is to do, not to sit and watch someone else.}

@Hailstones, don’t be so literal mate - we obviously scout hundreds of potential targets each year. We would have a fair few midfield players of interest. The primary one to fulfill the role what the manager and coaching staff have identified as needing attention didn’t want to come to the club - he wanted to go to Real Madrid, which is fair enough. Bellingham is also seen as someone who. Oud improve the squad. He isn’t available this summer but may be next summer and it seems the club are prepared to wait and not spend necessarily on players who wouldn’t really fit our requirements. By the 2nd this doesn’t make Bellingham a ‘golden child’ - if you want to give him a silly title a better one might be ‘primary transfer target for the summer transfer window 2023’.

I understand that, for a variety of reasons, if you were the manager for the coming season you would not be happy with the 9 or 10 midfielders that we have at our disposal. The current manager obviously doesn’t agree with you mate.

Up until a week Saturday results mean very little. It’s all about building match fitness and match day connections amongst players who don’t regularly play together in competitive fixtures.

We all know 15 off of the players have played regularly together but it’s now about blooding in some of the youngsters, Gomez again and the summer new signings.

A week sat we will be as full strength as Klopp believes are ready. There won’t be any risks or game time just given out for the sake of it. That’s what the early rounds of the cups will be for.

We should have bought Eriksen Thunderbird. Useful experience, forward thinking and creative. He would have been an apt player for a couple of seasons. Wet enough for you.

28 Jul 2022 08:36:33
There's a big difference between what Klopp thinks the squad needs and what fans want. Obsessive posting won't alter that fact.

28 Jul 2022 08:58:48
Rubbish. If the kid is good enough he's old enough.

28 Jul 2022 09:29:46
Hailstones, posting the same thing obsessively everyday and expecting a different outcome/ result is very disturbing. I propose, you find something else to post about cos it's really becoming a tedious experience reading your posts about the same topic. Just being honest here, bro.

ArAy1969 in regards to Bajcetic, that kid is pretty good. The first ball he received under pressure, he dropped a shoulder and on the half turn, lost his man. That means he is already press resistant at 17. I thought he was very good and based on ED01's comments in the last podcast, Klopp and the staff are really looking at him to give Fab and Hendo a blow in the 6 for Cup games. Let's see what happens.

28 Jul 2022 09:48:21
Mango, I’m with Ed. The only way Bajcetic learns is by playing. And not in the under 18’s or under 23’s. My view is that he needs to be in and around the first team squad, put him on the bench on match days, if we’re a few goals up get him on with half an hour to go so he can have that experience, play him in competitive cup games, give him a league game here or there alongside more experienced heads.

{Ed001's Note - forget the few goals up, they need to be put under pressure to develop. Play him regardless of the score and show belief in him and he will grow in confidence.}

Realistic names lucas pacqueta for ox / matheus nunes for keita and wet farts can be quite refreshing actually .

28 Jul 2022 10:38:30
Eriksen ???.

28 Jul 2022 12:40:06
Frode now I know you’re a troll or simply throwing in grenades - Spurs fans wanted rid of Erikssen at his pomp as he was too lazy tracking back. Not exactly a Klopp player is he.

28 Jul 2022 17:10:28
Hailstones, LFC will not be interested in signing random names just make you happy. Peace.
