I know we all wanted Xabi Alonso me included.
But when you watch the snooze-ball that Pep and Arteta serve up every week It might not be a bad thing our next manager isn’t Spanish. Tika Taka Bore Fest doesn’t suit us.

Watching the city v arsenal game . the amount of times City centre halves fall to the ground when City attack when challenged (not fouls ) . not noticed it bfr . must be a tactic they use .

Can we win all 9 remaining fixtures. Some tough looking games, Villa away, Spurs at home, West Ham away, Utd away.

Arsenal played almost the entire game with 6 defenders (their wingers playing very deep) . And have done it quite a few times during the season. Bore fest? Perhaps, but if it keeps teams from losing, they will use it. It feels more like a loss for ManCity than for Arsenal.

Certainly seems possible. But I hope we hammer ManU in the worst way possible, just to make up for that FA Cup game.

Hessle, yes we can win them all. Today will be a huge lift to the squad and we’ve got players in there who have the experience and a manager who can get them going. We can win 9 out of 9.

The first game btw both teams was a bore-fest as well. Arsenal got a smash and grab off a jammy deflected goal near the end. Were it not for that? Goalless btw both teams in both games. Smelly stuff.
