I am liking Salah less and less everyday at the moment. If I am honest his attitude stinks we as a club have gave him the stage to produce at the highest level and he is repaying us with mercenary tactics. He is souring his legacy here and I for one do not think he would be such a loss on current form and attitude problems probably best rid of him. Take the money and run. 😭.

{Ed0666's Note - Attitude problems? Quite the opposite my friend. I’m sorry to read you take umbrage at Mr Salah’s alleged truculence. From my perspective he’s doing everything the right way and is playing the game. He softly expressed he’s mot gonna sign anything the club put before him and why should he? He’s earned the right to a mega mega contract and it’s his prerogative to negotiate with us and other clubs. FSG are negotiating also and have FSG interest at heart not Mo Salah’s. The player owes us nothing he’s given all we can ask him for and more. Let’s not forget no one even rated him when he signed and 5 years later, having obliterated goal records he has the right to say acknowledge me and pay me the going rate lile Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe. And if he goes the club has shown you don’t need to spend a crazy amount to get excellent replacements I.e Luis Diaz. Enjoy the ride mate. It’s been fun and there’s still some more left.

Salah has been 100% for LFC this season and also done his country proud, he still has a smile on his face but it looks apparent his form has dropped a little over the past 2 weeks, I am hoping Klopp can find a way to get some rest into those legs so we can see Mo back at his best. I also like how Anfield send him the love during the games, I think he will stay when he weighs up all those considerations (other than money) that LFC can offer for the rest of his career but I can fully understand if he wants a new challenge. Whatever happens with Mo he will be a legend for this club.

{Ed0666's Note - I really can’t compute the anti Salah sentiment. There’s no merit to it.

Club will not give, club will not let him leave for any amount this summer. There are some changes at the club. Club wants to see to those changes first. There is enough time to settle this but media won't let it go and it unsettles both the club and salah. His agent doesn't help.

09 Apr 2022 07:49:50
Op that is the biggest load of s**t I’ve read on this site. I am absolutely astonished that you think this way after everything Salah has done. Yes salad’s agent is a bell but don’t start making things up about Salah the bloke is a role model!

09 Apr 2022 08:50:29
He is selfish and not a team player if his form does not improve I would be happy for him to move on, a big time Charlie just like Ronaldo. And yes he was well rated when he joined and what he has done is no surprise to me who wanted him to sign for us after seeing him for Basel. He has decided he is bigger than the club so needs to go.

{Ed001's Note - clearly a troll because what you are saying is a complete lie.}

09 Apr 2022 09:33:28
Mo Salah is under pressure from his government. When a sports minister in an African country advises you to leave your club for a different one.
You do so.

09 Apr 2022 09:43:03
Not a team player? 43 assists says otherwise, that's more than Fowler. What a bizarre opinion, give your head a wobble.

{Ed001's Note - it is clearly not an opinion, he sent in a bunch of other posts even more bizarre lies, just a troll from another site trying to be funny. I just deleted those.}

We expect every player to have the same commitment to Liverpool FC that us fans do, or a local lad like Trent. Its just an employer to Salah and there are other employers who will give him a job in a heartbeat. Salahs motivations may be money, a new challenge, new climate, whatever, by i highly doubt playing for our great club is the reason he would want to stay.
Let him go and hopefully we get a chunk of dosh for him. He’ll be forgoing the chance to break a multitude of records and ill be surprised if he will achieve the same love and recognition at another club considering his declining years but you reap what you sow.

09 Apr 2022 06:31:19
Ed you’ve just said it yourself he’s playing the game!
I hope the club turn him down!
We play a game that suits his strengths! I love the chap he’s been amazing but nothing lasts forever!
Let him and his agent go he’s been poor for 3 months now! So this is definitely effecting him!
Maybe LFC are sick of his agent tryin to get him a new club which has Been going on the last few years like ed02 has explained!
If Salah was so happy as he says he’d have nipped that in the bud long ago!
Sell him and wish him the best!

{Ed0666's Note - he’s been poor because he’s shattered mentally & physically. No prominent player in world football has played more football than him this season. In order to get what you want you have to play the game it’s part of a sportspersons role. You think if Rooney, Roy Keane didn’t threaten to leave United they would have got those bumper contracts? Maybe Salah wants to play for Madrid or Barca can you blame him? His desire from a young age was to play for Liverpool which he’s done so I for one don’t chastise him for realizing his dreams. Put some respect on his name I say and let’s work with him to try and placate him. Of course we don’t want him on a salary that will break us but we also don’t want to lose a 30 goal a season striker without doing everything to keep him. If Benzema can produce at 34 I’m sure Salah can with his insane attitude towards health & fitness.

Ed0666 I don’t get why the club let him do the interview before the city game they could have had anybody do that but they put Salah in a very awkward position.
I think Klopp should just say when they ask him the question now that he does not deal with renewals.
If Salah signs he signs if not thank you for some of the greatest memories I have had as a Liverpool supporter since the 1980s. As for ruining his legacy I don’t think so Salah gets into my all time best 11 cannot think of a right side attacker that gets anywhere near

{Ed0666's Note - FSG will pay their Red Sox baseball player Chris Sale $145 million dollar contract and @ 33 years old why can’t they give Salah one? FSG’s wages are currently the second highest in the MLB so they’re not strangers to paying big wages. I think Salah answered his question with extreme grace and dignity yet adroitly getting his point across. If I’d have given that interview I’d of been proud of myself.

09 Apr 2022 13:20:23
Ed benzema is in a easier league doing it! the epl is the most competitive league in the world it’s not as easy! I’d hate to loose salah but these things happen but don’t be playing with the fans with this the club know how I feel and what I want blah blah!
It’s greed!
Also I get maybe he’s tired we don’t hear or see mane at a slump!
I just hope it’s all sorted soon if he goes I wish him the best I won’t loose sleep! If he stays i great I hope the club haven’t been rode!

{Ed0666's Note - Mane has played less football than Salah

09 Apr 2022 13:22:23
Ed666 we are not the red six though remeber they are fsgs baby LFC is just another commodity to them…. 😵‍💫.

{Ed0666's Note - I just don’t handle hypocrisy very well mate. I like to champion the cause of truth and justice as much as physically able.

09 Apr 2022 13:27:52
Only reason I can think of in this apparent "dislike" of Mo is so that people can pretend they don't care if he is sold or sees his contract out. The red tinted glasses need to come off pronto with this. It's no different to any other job, you do it exceptionally well so you expect to be properly looked after. Your current employer doesn't/ won't pay you what you want you start looking at other employers to see what they're offering. Same in all walks of life the world over. If Mo goes this summer or sees his contract out u personally wish him well and thank him for the memories.

09 Apr 2022 14:43:18
It’s not hypocrisy. It’s common business. The Red Sox make 10x what Liverpool does on gate money. Liverpool makes most of their money on sponsorship/ tv deals. Since football is more of a global interest than baseball, one could easily argue baseball has far more room to grow on a global scale.

Recent valuations have the Red Sox at worth just under 5 billion dollars, while Liverpool is estimated at I believe around 2.

The hypocrisy comes from Liverpool supporters who are never happy with what a massive turnaround this club has had since the investment by FSG simply because they are yanks.

This club was on the verge of bankruptcy, worth under 400 million pounds, and we were stuck 5-8th place season after season. We’ve since gotten the best manager in the world, the best center back, keeper, right back who our academy developed, (in my opinion) DM, and we are currently going for a quadruple in trophies. Give your heads a wobble you embarrass yourselves. Throwing whatever salah wants at him just because you can is a terrible business model. If the club feels salah is worth something, they have to stick to it. It has served us quite well over the last 5 seasons - we are competing with financial juggernauts.

09 Apr 2022 15:12:57
OP, that's a clear case of "damned if you do and damned if you don't". I can already see it now. If he signs a new contract he will regularly get slaughtered for not scoring 40 plus goals again. And if he gets a better offer elsewhere, then he'll be crucified for being a mercenary (some of which has started already) .

People have no qualms changing jobs every couple of years, citing higher pay and better opportunities, and whatever else. But somehow footballers are not allowed that.

09 Apr 2022 15:22:00
TJ genuine question mate as I honestly don’t know the answer and Google not much help.

How does the Red Sox make 10x what Liverpool do on gate receipts with a 37k capacity?

{Ed002's Note - Obviously the pandemic has hit them hard. Income is going to be higher as they have 81 home league games per season of 162 games.}

09 Apr 2022 15:39:29
Tj fro what I have just seen Liverpool are the 12 most valuable sports club in the word and the red socks are 20th.
Baseball will never be as big as football and is nowhere near as big as American football or even basketball I don’t think in the us.

09 Apr 2022 15:56:04
Sitting through one game of that rubbish is bad enough but 162 in a season? 🙈.

09 Apr 2022 15:58:02
Ed002 cheers for the reply mate I had absolutely no idea that baseball had that many games. I normally pay around £50-£75 for my Liverpool tickets and there no chance I would pay £400 to go and watch a game of rounders.

09 Apr 2022 17:42:10
Sorry but if Chelsea are valued at 3 billion LFC will be at least 4 where does this so called 2 billion value come from? Nonsense.

09 Apr 2022 18:06:58
Think baseball tickets tend to be cheaper, because of the sheer volume. But its more like a day out as some games can be 3 to 4 hours long. So the concessions get a lot of traffic. Makes it difficult to watch though with people getting up all the time for food and drink.

10 Apr 2022 13:45:06
OP, I literally stopped reading when you attacked Salah’s attitude. The guy is distraught by his dreams of being ab AFCON champion and WC appearance shattered in addition to him being mentally tired having played near all 90 mins for club and country all season and this is the type of tone deaf slander you come up with?

Wait, You know what? Scratch that. I’ve read your replies and Ed01 is right. Houser clearly a troll.
