What's all this talk of a ban? Pretty sure as soon as the apology came the pl said it was the end of the matter. Am I missing something?

No sky reported Southampton were happy and likely that it would be the end of the matter. It wasn't because this isn't the 1st time Liverpool has been reported and we are already banned from signing youth players in the UK. Tapping up seems to be a bit of a problem and I'm just hoping the FA don't decide to set an example of Liverpool. Cause let's face it klopp and the staff could have no complaints. And it would also be just typical of us when things seemed to be gathering momentum.

Im in same boat as no one has reported anything differnet on it however it has gone way too quiet on transfers since then so something either internally or with the FA must need sorting as i doubt the club are just been this slow with all our transfer targets especially when Klopp had said most of their ground work had been done (in retrospect that was dumb of him ) so if that was the case we would have expected more deals to be confirmed by now unless something is a miss.

My concern is, can Klopp be trusted but to put his foot in it again, not just this season but in the future. We've surely used up all our chances.

I think the silver lining with VvD is that the whole world knows Klopp managed to convince him ahead of Man C and Chelsea. that in itself is massive and you can imagine high quality players would have also taken note of that too. So yes, short term it's not great, but medium -long term, who knows.

How is this being discussed again. The Afcon is every 2 years, not for 2 years, for max a month, if both players reach the finalast that is. It's football we could have 2 complete different wingers by then. If we are hoping some of the young lads like ojo and Woodburn are around the team this year. surely they will be about in 2 years. and many other reason why why shouldn't care about haven't quality players sign for us.

People complain about the signing of Salah because of afcon (which is a legitimate arguement but not a strong one) yet they wouldn't complain about the signing of keita even though he has afcon as well lol.

Ed002 whilst we wait for transfer news along with the upcoming fixture list please let me know whether you enjoy Californian wines as much as French wines.

Also have you stayed in Yorkshire Dales or the Cotswolds and if so do you think they compare to being in Napa Valley or South of France?

Salah seems like a very humble, focused and balanced individual. After some research I reckon he would be a a extremely valuable signing for Liverpool.

If we do not manage to sign Salah then it will show the utter ineptness of Liverpool in the transfer market.

Is he physically ready for the weekly demands of the Prem? Serie A is a lot slower pace, with a very uneven playing field. The EPL is one of the only leagues where anyone can beat anyone regularly with the 'lesser' sides able to field 11 internationals.
