As things stand for Luton, not knowing any more on injuries the best 11 we can field will be Kelleher, Robbo, VVD, Konate, Bradley, Endo, Elliott, Mac, Mo, Diaz and Gakpo. Bench will be super thin with Gomez, Adrian, Tsimkas, and Quansha the only first teamers on it. Very little going foward off the bench so the starting 11 will have to be good and get us out of sight if players are to be reseted as that could well be the 11 for next Sundays Cup final as well.

I don't think we should chance starting mo after him playing 65-70mins against brentford. id say that's doublt the minutes we intended giving him in that game.

Might be on my own here but I’d argue that the Luton game is bigger than the League cup final.
Was only a few years ago we would happily call the league cup a Mickey Mouse cup.
Winning the premier league is the Holy grail.
That’s not me saying I don’t want to win the league cup as I want to win every game.
But if I had a choice of winning every league game from here in or the League cup I know what I would pick hands down.

I'd agree with u jk23, I'd prioritize the league every time. Nice to win a cup no doubt, gives everybody a bit of a lift from supporters to players to management. Downside is if you're in too many competitions, the sheer voloume of games is no doubt a major problem that particularly rears its head at business end of season.

The Luton game is the most important cos not only is it the next game, City will more than likely smoke Brentford to take the lead down to a point hence, we got to respond. Cos if we draw and City win on the weekend, we go a point behind them and we lose the initiative right there. That would sting badly.
For me, we can talk about the Cup final after we handle our business vs Luton. There will be ample time for all that. Next game up and long may this attitude continue.

Luton are no push overs.
They will be tough to beat and we need to play our strongest 11.
From now on in, even more so with all the injuries, it's sqeaky bum time. Next match is always the most important and that's what we must focus on.

We can’t afford to take Luton for granted. We actually can’t afford to drop any points between now and the end of the season. Well, maybe a draw against City but I would prefer a win to have a 4 point buffer as opposed to 2 points, which would mean one loss and City could overtake us.
Also Luton are so up and down. If the team that is capable of beating any side turns up and we are not on it, we are in trouble. So we have to put our strongest side out.
