And he’s ? correct. The amount of second balls Utd won was embarrassing.

Actions will always speak louder than words, saying it is the easy part doing it is the hard part consistently? not just five PL wins on the bounce then four PL losses means you are back to square one.

Villa have just beat man cheaty, with a low block or park the bus, they will do the same to us next week, another 8 o'clock kick off Saturday night.

We will have a practise session so to speak against the palace this Wednesday, I would play my strongest team to get this parrot glasner off our backs with this team if possible:woodman, brads, CON-ate, VVD, milos, dominic, ryan, flo, alexis, ekitike, isak (Federico if not fit) in a 4-4-2 only. Salah can have the night off, like the last round!

Arne and staff sit in the stands before and during the match and take note: VVD does the pre match team talk, and says quite simply just go out and enjoy yourselves boys forget about confusing tactics and team orders just play as a team, VVD also to decide the subs.

Nothing to lose, a permanent low block solution can only be found with the player's actions on the field of play, not the manager's actions or tactical decisions or baffling team selections, every team is going to play this way against us, it is only the LFC players who can find a solution.

No truer words have ever been said about our season, IMO. Robbo is spot on and Im guessing some in the DR (or even the staff) know he is referring to them.

Robbo is right . we have to fight for every ball. we get bullied, out run and now the manager is being out thought . Brentford showed even without the quality we have, if you have desire it will get you somewhere,

Robbo was talking about all of them.

I know Diaz wasn’t perfect.

The thing I loved most about him was that he was always up for the battle. Bit like Darwin.

As much as people yap on about G/ As, the characteristic of our title winning team that put us in positions to score those goals was our heart, our cohesion, our fight.

This team, collectivity, is a long way off that.

They’re on the way, and this may be the season of learning for them. I’m backing them to get there, so buckle in lads and lasses! It may be a long season!

P. s. it already has been haha.

But Isak and Ekitike are better players than Diaz and Nunez.
I don't remember Diaz and Nunez being noted for their fight either. We lacked fight last season and we've even less this season. We need to bring some in and get back some of last season's form.
Grav, Mac and Szob were our three most used midfielders last season and not one of them played 90 minutes there last night.

The fullbacks are also not proper defenders which doesn't help.
I don't think we are miles away, though. Someone that can get stuck in at the side of Gravenberch and replacing Konate and I think we'd see a massive improvement.

"I don't remember Diaz and Nunez being noted for their fight either. We lacked fight last season and we've even less this season. ",

Sorry, none of this is true. Darwin and Diaz where known for being fighters and running their socks off in games even when they weren't producing. Even their detractors used to give them credit for that, at least.

Secondly, saying we lacked any type of fight last season is patently false and laughable. We only lost one out of our 30 games last season with a 26 game unbeaten run, best in the league last season.

To say we lacked fight at any point last season whereas we all saw how we woul come from a goal down and win or come from a goal down and draw playing with 10 men vs Fulham, is absolute bonkers and has no basis in actual reality.

OliRed, Diaz and Nunez ran around a lot but they were not fighters. They would lose the ball and then foul an opponent. Nunez might headbutt someone and get sent off but that doesn't help the team.
I'm talking about players that win the ball back and if you think Diaz and Nunez were noted for that you can miss me out with that schtick, my guy.

I said we lacked fight last season. It's my opinion.
A midfield of Grav, Mac and Szob lacks fight, for me. Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum and Milner had more fight, hence, we lacked fight last season.
Souness, McMahon, Gerrard, Mascherano, Sissoko etc etc all had more fight than the midfielders we have now have.
I'll add the fullbacks and your mate Konate, too.
Then again, you might see Kerkez charging around like Nunez but getting beaten on the back post to concede a goal as fight but that dog don't hunt, for me, man.
