Looking like Connor Gallagher is to be made available by Chelsea! I would be happy if we took a punt on him. Great energy has a goal in him and loved his pressing and nicking the ball when at palace! Any chance on this one Ed’s?

{Ed002's Note - Another club has already been talking to Chelsea about a summer move, but not Liverpool.}

1.) 17 Jan 2023 14:37:18
Wouldn't want him anyway. Not upto standard.

2.) 17 Jan 2023 15:10:25
He's more than up to our current standard, Magico, but I take your point.

3.) 17 Jan 2023 15:15:17
why Liverpool fan keep wanting Liverpool to sign average players. Liverpool need to buy quality players.

4.) 17 Jan 2023 15:34:21
Average would be a massive upgrade on what we currently have in midfield, that's why.

5.) 17 Jan 2023 16:17:39
Not up to the standard of who? Keita? Ox? Milner? He'd be a great addition.

6.) 17 Jan 2023 16:43:26
He'd be an addition. He might be better than some of the midfielders we have but he wouldn't be a great addition.

7.) 17 Jan 2023 16:50:33
Not saying he’s the ultimate answer but is Conor Gallagher better/ more available/ more suitable than Ox, Milner, Kieta, Jones?

8.) 17 Jan 2023 16:38:13
He’d be a super addition to the club.

How do you rate the player Ed’s? And do you think he’d fit in at Liverpool?

{Ed002's Note - He is a good player but Liverpool have shown no interest in him.}

9.) 17 Jan 2023 17:15:46
He wouldn’t be in my first three but a good squad addition. Better than Ox and Naby for sure but that’s not too difficult.

10.) 17 Jan 2023 17:56:26
Ginger to your question YES HE IS! And.

11.) 17 Jan 2023 19:45:36
We all know who he’s been talking too.

12.) 17 Jan 2023 21:54:07
I don’t think he would fit into the ‘right player at the right price’ category. As was discussed on here yesterday we would be better served spending on one or two potential starters in the midfield, rather than use the money on squad members who wouldn’t be regular starters. If we did it would potentially be a lose / lose situation - no new starters and the money needed to get the new starters not there because we padded out the squad.

13.) 17 Jan 2023 22:06:43
He’s going Tottenham.

14.) 18 Jan 2023 07:37:28
Just because he'd be better than keita or ox doesn't mean we go and spunk money on him. No better than Curtis Jones. I've never seen him do much when I've watched him for Chelsea. surprised they even got him back.

15.) 18 Jan 2023 12:29:51
Magico watch him played the season before at Palace, plenty on show he'd be cheaper than what Gakpo and for us only have a budget for 1 player is embarrassing.

16.) 18 Jan 2023 12:47:17
True it is embarrassing Lancaster. But a 1 good season at Palace really the answer? Todd cantwell rings a bell.

17.) 18 Jan 2023 14:27:17
Jay Dub.
I probably agree with that.
He has energy, he presses, he scores and regularly available so better than the 3 I mentioned.

29 Jun 2022 18:20:24
Rumours circulating that Marcos leonardo from santos is likely to be next through the door! Brazilian striker 19 years old! Probably go back out on loan.

1.) 29 Jun 2022 19:29:17
Just seen this report. It was basically a comment made mid commentary and wasn’t mentioned again. Could be absolutely nothing as he may simply be wrong.

2.) 29 Jun 2022 19:29:54
I would certainly welcome this. Not because I know anything about the player but is a market we have never really exploited before, with the one exception of Lucas off the top of my head.

3.) 29 Jun 2022 22:56:12
I've watched him since the day of his conception. Serious baller.

{Ed0666's Note - sounds a little weird that lol

4.) 29 Jun 2022 23:04:23
Ed666. Your response made me laugh way more than it should have.

{Ed0666's Note - Part of me wanted to call the police not gonna lie ?

5.) 29 Jun 2022 23:27:40
This is the type of rumour that I love. Anytime someone mentions “the next” I always get excited. That said, Romario was a god of football. Hard to follow that up imo. Here’s hoping it’s legit. Here’s hoping he develops with us.

6.) 29 Jun 2022 23:50:27
People in glass houses Ed0666??.

7.) 30 Jun 2022 10:34:48
Not sure how real this rumour nor whether work permits would be possible for someone so young.

Based on admittedly poor evidence of youtube clips, he looks to have a similar profile (physical and style) to Luis Suarez. He looks older than 19 in terms of the way he's already built.

8.) 30 Jun 2022 10:53:15
51m buy out clause haha.

9.) 30 Jun 2022 08:56:11
Nothing weird Ed0666 I was the cameraman.

{Ed0666's Note - that’s all right then mate I was think you were a perv

10.) 30 Jun 2022 17:31:10
?? Ed0666.

07 Jun 2022 16:42:36
Good afternoon! Just wondering what the Eds opinions are on kalvin Phillips from Leeds? Seems to me to be someone who could fit in to our current system very well. I know he has had a few injuries recently but from what I recall Leeds stats when he doesn't play seem to go through the floor. I think he could fill in for Fabinho in the holding role but also play alongside him to utilise a more forward thinking midfielder such as Thiago, carvalho or Elliott. I think Leeds will struggle to hold on to him any longer even after avoiding the drop. Me personally I would be delighted with the capture of him maybe Nunez to replace mane and the young lad Ramsey from Aberdeen. I have a feeling carvalho is going to be an absolute fire cracker! Hopefully the icing on the cake would be to move on players such as minamino, ox, Williams, Davies, Phillips and even possibly Keita to free up wages for salahs new contract. Not a break the bank new contract but hopefully a compromise can be reached. That would be my dream summer. Just to note I love nothing better than a daily dose of this site in the off season. Keep up the great work Eds!

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool are interested and he has a stupid haircut so should fit in well.}

1.) 07 Jun 2022 17:16:56
I don’t understand the fascination. He’s not good enough to play for Liverpool!

2.) 07 Jun 2022 17:50:08
Wasn't he not particularly great in a more advanced position, and thus Bielsa moved him deeper? Kinda curious as to what role he'd play in our squad if we signed him.

3.) 07 Jun 2022 18:02:22
Jaxx what a absolute stupid statement! Who else did u say that about before we signed them? *sigh.

4.) 07 Jun 2022 18:03:21
Eds response. classic and hilarious.

5.) 07 Jun 2022 18:12:28
Not even sure he’s an upgrade on Ox! 🤷‍♂️

Sangaré or nothing this window for the midfield I reckon, more likely renew Keïta and no midfield signing so we can spunk huge money on one signing to mark the start of the Ward era.

Ousmane Dembélé or Darwin Núñez maybe?

Eds, serious question - CM and a right sided forward seem like logical positions to add players, is it possible we retain an interest in Renato Sanches and/ or Adama Traoré?

{Ed002's Note - I am hi I interest in both has gone.}

6.) 07 Jun 2022 19:53:51
Phew! 😅
Thanks Ed.

7.) 07 Jun 2022 20:07:24
I don't see how he would fit in right now with Fabinho been far better imo, also i think City are after him right?

8.) 07 Jun 2022 17:27:32
Very good player and a great passer.

9.) 07 Jun 2022 17:27:39
I agree Jaxx he’s never going to be any good for Liverpool, maybe he’s a great player on FIFA PlayStation game and that’s why people rate him so much, still each to their own.

10.) 07 Jun 2022 21:07:42
JayDubRed. I am a person that thinks anyone who puts the Red shirt on is not good enough until they prove it through their performances. with Phillips being English we will pay an inflated fee and the difference in playing 1game a week for Leeds to sometimes 3games in 8/ 9days for Liverpool is different. the pressure and the expectation is different. but from what I have seen thus far from KP he is not good enough to play at the level required.

11.) 08 Jun 2022 01:31:10
@Jaxx785, you could possibly show a little bit more respect to the club and the people who make decisions about who we sign. Alternatively you could put your name forward to the club as a replacement for Ward?

There have been a considerable number of players in recent seasons who have failed to pass muster on this very forum, who have gone on to do ‘quite well’, winning Premier League, Champions League titles and various other bits and pieces.

12.) 08 Jun 2022 09:09:00
To say he ain’t good enough for Liverpool is laughable! We currently have Henderson Milner and Keita in those positions! He plays over them every day of the week for me! I’m not saying they don’t have anything to offer, Henderson and Milner character wise add serious value but in pure footballing terms Phillips is an upgrade on 4 or 5 of the current central midfielders we have. How can englands player of the year not be good enough for Liverpool.

13.) 08 Jun 2022 18:57:43
I feel like out midfield has been loosing it's balance a bit and it has aged real quick, and the aging players haven't been replaced properly.

23 Jan 2022 22:01:55
Strong rumours surfacing of a possible deal for Fabio carvalho from Fulham. Although out of contract at end of the season a compensation fee would be due to Fulham. A deal may be made for a reasonable fee before the window closes loaning him back to Fulham for the rest of the season. Looks a proper player!

1.) 24 Jan 2022 04:06:34
This one looks happening to me. A brilliant prospect.

2.) 24 Jan 2022 05:46:29
A good young player.
His contract is running down, so would be good to pick him up without paying a fee.

A good few teams are after him though.

3.) 24 Jan 2022 08:14:22
I’d like to see us sign him in Jan and let him play out the season at Fulham, he is getting invaluable experience right now.

4.) 24 Jan 2022 08:33:25
Bring on the Dortmund model, which will never work unless young players see that path is open at LFC.
Nurturing young talent into world class talent, whilst signing a few top dogs like Diaz is much more rewarding than buying up the Grealish's of this world .

5.) 24 Jan 2022 10:16:41
But isn’t Diaz a similar signing to grealish? He just plays in a different league.

6.) 24 Jan 2022 10:44:50
TAA, Neco, Bradley, Beck, Morton, Elliot, Jones, Gordon, Blair, Dixon-Bonner, Woltman - the path is open for youngsters ….

7.) 24 Jan 2022 11:16:50
All very well and good Spaceman as long as our fans are ok with waiting for a league title like Dortmund.

8.) 24 Jan 2022 16:22:35
With signings like VVD and Ali, things are nicely balanced out. I would not bet against some 'big' signings coming in this summer, along with the usual choice pick of talented youth players.
Re Diaz, potentially pegleg yes, although around half of the price and twice the player.

Shouda, woulda, coulda. Pundits and commentators bleed on about how good a front players we have! 5 for 3 positions but in a nutshell none of them are good finishers at all. Maybe jota but he can’t stay fit. They simply get goals based on volume of chances made per game. None of them are clinical tho so at the business end of the season when the pressure is on they come up short! Absolutely knew that was going to happen today! The Man City steam train sets off from here.

1.) 07 Apr 2024 19:15:12
Just what we need another psychic.

2.) 07 Apr 2024 19:20:46
Been waiting on that train since xmas, its April.

3.) 07 Apr 2024 19:48:14
ridiculous post.

4.) 07 Apr 2024 22:32:44
You always knew we were one poor result away for these people crawl out from under the rock they hid under this whole time when things were going all our way.

5.) 07 Apr 2024 22:34:06
IMO our forwards and midfield players are much better players than those at Arsenal's. I'd stand by that even if we don't win the league this season.

Btw, after years of supporting Liverpool, when was the year that the club cruises easily to won any of the trophies? I couldn't remember a single one. I still have faith. Maybe one or two more trophies will come this season.

6.) 07 Apr 2024 22:41:49
maybe it's a reflection of how well the club is run that we can be equal top of the league and still have such a poor squad.

7.) 08 Apr 2024 00:01:43
@Faith, yep. We are so bad and some of our players need to go, the same ones who have got us to this point EVEN tho, not a soul in the fan base belived nor even said we would challenge for honors this season, let alone the title. Oh, how does the club succedd which so many things they get wrong?

8.) 08 Apr 2024 10:47:59
HaizenMSS 19/ 20 we cruised to an extremely easy title where we were so far ahead that even a dip in form at end of season saw us win with points to spare - that's also the only title we've won in decades.

9.) 08 Apr 2024 15:45:02
oil red,
How many trophies should we have won? Never mind what we won? As for wanting players to go you must understand football clubs have massive a turnover of players this how a football club is run mate. If they don't live up to their abilities, then you move them on and bring in players that will do what the ones did not reach the standards of whatever club they appeared for and may I say Liverpool FC have very high standards and the fans have to buddy.

21 Aug 2023 23:11:37
I watched palace arsenal tonight to get a proper look at Doucoure. Never really noticed him before but with all the talk of him being a possible target thought I’d take a look. Some one posted below somewhere that he doesn’t seem to provide an angle for a simple pass and does look very slow. That was also my conclusion. definitely not the most mobile anyway. I know you can’t run the rule over someone in 90 minutes but he hardly filled me with any real confidence! ! But then I suppose on that logic after watching Caceido for half an hour for Chelsea you would come to the conclusion that he was an absolute clown. Hard to judge really but he is not someone who would excite me this close to the window closing. Rather play bajetic.

1.) 22 Aug 2023 01:22:18
I personally think endo is perfect to allow bajcetic grow into the role. and problem with gravenberch for me is that he wants to start rather than fight for it. credit where it's due maguire rejected west ham coz he wanted to fight for place? sorry if that's incorrect. well who is gravenberch going to replace anyway? endo? he's a dm. this guy is not . macca and szobo? he would have to be a very good baller for that.

2.) 22 Aug 2023 07:15:53
Well as long as you’ve watched him once ?.

3.) 22 Aug 2023 08:25:06
Topofthekops I was happy we was going for him because of all the hype same as Caicedo but after watching him last night my worries about Endo would be the same for him. With the way we play our number 6 can be left a little isolated and I think pace is a must more now than ever with VVD not being as commanding as he was. I’ve only really taken notice of Caicedo twice Sunday can’t really judge and the end of last season vs Newcastle where I thought he looked very average. If these are the best number 6 out there the Endo signing is making more sense now. My only concern is we don’t have a true backup to Endo I think Bajcetic might become one in time but at the moment an 8 seems better option for him. I do hope we stay clear of Gravenberch but I did not understand the Gakpo signing and for the price I think that’s been a great piece of business as long as Klopp gets him back upfront instead of midfield.

4.) 22 Aug 2023 08:51:22
Maguire wants to stay due to his higher salary at ManU and also he feels he deserves to play at a higher level.

5.) 22 Aug 2023 09:01:33
You have to earn what you think you deserve. That's how reality works. Someone take Slabhead out of Lala Land.

6.) 22 Aug 2023 09:06:42
Maguire is a joke and Man U are just as bad for paying what they did for him on obscene wages, Leicester was his level.

7.) 22 Aug 2023 09:07:27
Please wake up if you think Endo is enough. My word.

8.) 22 Aug 2023 10:01:20
I am fine with us signing Doucoure as it is not my money and we raery spend frivolously, but I would put this out question there:

What is Palace sell us Doucoure for £70m and replace him with Kone for £40m? How would we feel?

I would also ask, do we need our no6 to be press resistant? If so, which of the two players is more press resistant?

Right now, I am leaning toward Kone in now and Andre in January. I am sure that will change again tomorrow.

{Ed002's Note - Crystal Palace has no interest in Kone.}

14 Aug 2023 18:30:16
Kalvin phillips or Tyler adams it is then! Who we having lads? I think we should go for adams as he has a release clause to keep things nice and simple! We do like a release clause don’t we.

{Ed077's Note - Ed001's 2 most favorite footballers??. He'd be overjoyed if both arrived.}

1.) 14 Aug 2023 18:48:38
Maybe chelsea will go and sign him then too as they have been speaking with him the longest haha.

2.) 14 Aug 2023 18:49:30
One is currently injured and the other is an injury waiting to happen. If sooner have Baj at DM than those two.

3.) 14 Aug 2023 19:14:22
Livebird, you're on a roll. ?.

4.) 14 Aug 2023 18:56:19
Not an Adams fan ed001? I think he’s a good Good player, is exactly the position we are missing, available at a good price, great work rate/ ethic and I don’t think his injury record is what people make it out to be. That being said, rumors of why Chelsea pulled out are that his medical had something pop up, but the timing of the Caicedo and lavia situation were curious with this one. I think this would be another “3rd choice signing” that had a good value.

Fully admit my bias as an American, but I’ve liked watching him play.

{Ed001's Note - he has longstanding hamstring issues and can't pass. He is a midtable player and not good enough. I would rather see Trent playing as a DM. Oh and his attitude stunk the place out at Leeds after the World Cup finished and he literally went on holiday to Italy when he got injured rather than being there to support his teammates in a relegation battle. I would avoid him at all costs.}

5.) 14 Aug 2023 19:08:03
Were Brighton not wanting to sign Adams? If we sign him we're just doing what some fans want and doing a Brighton.
At least we'd have Gomez and another member of the Adams family.

6.) 14 Aug 2023 20:35:17
Good 1 rigsby.

03 May 2023 12:01:00
I think Liverpool need to be ruthless this year with letting people go otherwise we will be seriously clogged up with new arrivals. Keita Milner oxlaide and firmino practically out the door but I reckon Thiago melo and Morton probably need to follow them out. 2 new midfield editions look likely and playing time for Fabinho Henderson Jones elliott and bajectic rotating is surely enough. We have struggled for quality not numbers really. Still leaves 7 for the 3 midfield spots! Can see kehleher Phillips and matip and Adrian leaving too with a decent centre back coming in and new back up keeper! Really think the squad needs it too! My money on a good 10/ 11 departures with 4/ 5 incoming. Carvalho out on loan as well would be good for him.

1.) 03 May 2023 12:42:08
I see no reason to get rid of Thiago or Morton, in fact I think we need them. Anybody with juice in the tank or something left to offer should stick around.

The real question is who has got the mental and physical fortitude to go again? I’m not sure Fabinho or van Dijk have either, even Salah potentially as well. Matip and Gomez have looked dusted on both counts for a while now.

I’d be looking to ship out players like that before Thiago or Morton, who I think still have the proverbial Eye of the Tiger, a bit of hunger and gumption. That’s what i’d be trying to assess first and foremost, cull everyone who has lost that spark and see what we have left, bringing in some younger and hungrier lads to take their place.

2.) 03 May 2023 12:42:37
VVD should be first out the door imo. Could get a premium price for a player going downhill… no brainer.

3.) 03 May 2023 13:04:59
I can’t see Melo going. Lads hardly done anything wrong ?.

4.) 03 May 2023 13:12:12
Not sure how anyone can question salah on ability or mentality? The guys plays every game and been our top scorer every season.

5.) 03 May 2023 13:23:36
Thiago is meant to be our main go to guy in midfield but unfortunately he is a hologram who can't be relied upon. He needs to be replaced by someone we can feel safe that can play footy for us.

6.) 03 May 2023 14:28:51
Thiago can’t stay fit and it won’t get any better so has to go for me. I’d also add Matip to the list. If we can get good money for vvd then yep gone he will not get any better only slower if that’s possible.

7.) 03 May 2023 14:39:38
The problem is, based on the seasons performance, there’s not many players that I would keep!

However, obviously we can’t change the whole squad (even though at times this season, it’s felt like it would be nice to! )

Klopp has alluded in recent interviews a few times that there will be signings but that there won’t be radical changes either.

On that basis, I think he will use this summer to put out the fires in central midfield and centre back and bring in a few new faces there but I don’t think Klopp will be selling senior players like VVD, Henderson or Thiago.

8.) 03 May 2023 15:04:52
Alisson – keep. Arguably the best in the world
Trent – keep but full conversion to midfield.
Gomez – Try at right back but no future at centre half in my opinion
Van Dijk – Should no longer be a guaranteed starter. Looks to be just a regular premier league centre back now. We need a new centre half to establish a partnership alongside Konate.
Matip – same as van Dijk
Konate – persist with him. Still a little bit raw but I think he can be our rock going forward.
Robertson – keep. Not sure he will get back to his best levels but still better than most premier league left backs.
Fabinho – keep but if he doesn’t get back to his best, start to transition out of the team
Bajcetic – the future. Looking forward to seeing him again next season
Henderson – transition to the type of role Milner has had for the last few years.
Milner – Probably finally time to move but wouldn’t have a massive problem if he stayed on
Thiago – I’m indifferent on this one. Brilliant footballer but we haven’t seen his best on a regular basis. I think we don’t lose much if he leaves.
Jones – persist for another season
Elliott – jury is out a little in my opinion but again, persist I think
Carvalho – don’t feel able to comment. There must be a reason why he doesn’t get any opportunities
Salah – keep of course – the goal and assists just keep coming
Diaz – keep. Full season out of him next year could be massive
Gakpo – keep. Of our many good options up front, he looks like the only one who can do something close to the Firmino role
Nunez – keep. Not a bad first season but I think he is going to explode into life at some point.
Jota – keep. Great fourth or fifth choice option and our only real goal poacher in my opinion.

With all of the above in mind, I think we need to add a top class centre back who comes straight into the starting line up + a midfield dominator + possibly one more midfielder in a more creative/ attacking role.

If we have to sell players in order to raise money to buy new players then I guess it’s the likes of Kelleher, Gomez, Phillips, Tsimikas and Thiago who we’d be willing to let go and who have a bit of value. I think some would be willing to sell Jota for a decent offer but I don’t think Klopp will let him go.

9.) 03 May 2023 15:23:27
Can get rid of the entire midfield for me bar Bajcetic.

10.) 03 May 2023 15:48:37
As well as the KO pair and Melo, who should all be absolutes, Thiago and Matip also need to go. Also Rhys Williams and probably Nat Phillips, that’s just for starters.

I would really evaluate VVDs position within the squad. I am not convinced he can recover his pre-Pick-form.

Fabinho also needs to pull up some trees during the off season.

We do have Bradley and Morton returning to the fold and players like Clark coming through but we also have question marks over Kelleher, Gomez and Kostas. Do they want to stick around another season? Should we get a decent fee for them now? It’s a horrible transition period driven by seasons of port decision making. We need to really get this right and we still don’t have a DoF n place. It could be a disaster on the scale of the Italian Job or the Titanic!

11.) 03 May 2023 16:30:37
Not sure why anyone would advocate selling Morton right now, he at least deserves preseason to show what he can do. If we want to attract good young players to the academy we have to show we are prepared to allow them a chance at breaking into the first team.

12.) 03 May 2023 16:50:29
RR good read that mate. Only thing that seems to be going unnoticed is Konate. I really like the lad but he’s actually featured less than Thiago has this season due to injuries so I’m not sure he’s our rock just yet.

He definitely has the ability but his availability never seems to be questioned like some of the rest of the squad.

13.) 03 May 2023 17:05:39
Spot on Thunderbird.

14.) 03 May 2023 17:15:11
It’s just nonsense in my opinion. Get rid of Salah and keep a guy who can’t stay fit based purely on physical and mental fortitude? Well I know who is winning the physical battle ?.

15.) 04 May 2023 00:36:28
Thiago will go, Great player but hardly ever fit and not sure he's really what we need. Morton, be good to see if he's improved as I don't think he's anywhere good enough for our first team. I hope is has improved and can play a part but I have my doubts.

28 Dec 2022 13:03:01
I do like enzo Fernandez a lot but the transfer fee would be huge especially if they are hoping to go big on Bellingham in the summer. I just can’t see them going for both! Staying with Argentina tho what are peoples thoughts on macalister from Brighton? Looked great at the World Cup and very good and proven for Brighton too! Reminds me of the old school midfielders who are actually able to contribute with goals and assists! Surely 40 to 50 million gets him. Brighton do have history of getting very good midfield players, some the very types we are crying out for. Caciedo very good also and bissouma before him.

Enzo looks to be of world class potential and can play 3 positions well. He is ideal for the Klopp mould, and should he stay for a decade, it would work out at a little over 10m per season.

2.) 28 Dec 2022 15:25:10
I get your logic but it really wouldn’t be like that say he signs a 5 year deal
Who says he signs another 5 he might run his contract down and leave on a free

Unfortunately it’s enzo or Jude IMO and I think Jude is worth waiting for let’s hope we can make it happen

I just don’t see us being able to finance both.

Chelsea getting a player of that quality certainly doesn’t help our chances of qualifying for the CL. Not signing at least one midfielder in the summer just gone when you look at our current options was just stupidly there’s no other words to describe it. I love Klopp but the way he acted in the summer i didn’t like one but patronisingly asking journalists for names of midfielders who’d improve us and gaslighting supporters by telling us how good our current midfielders already are like we don’t have eyes of our own was a disgrace.

4.) 28 Dec 2022 16:40:10
According to most FSG's priority is profit, and if this is the case, then signing the best players available will protect and enhance that profit .
Enzo is a top player with a high ceiling and 88m is F all in the grand scheme of things.

Op I really like macalister and think he makes a massive difference at Brighton. The lad literally never stops running and still young. I would definitely have him at Liverpool as a keita replacement.
Looks like Enzo is off to Chelsea there’s no way we can out bid them.

I expect Bellingham to go to Real Madrid. There has been no indication that we, as a club are close to a deal but RM have been making noises about signing him since last summer.

Let’s be realistic, signing a player of his stature is going to take a lot more than a media-friendly, joint World Cup buddy system.

We may have the money but we do not have the allure Los Blancos has on a global scale. And we have all been led to believe that it isn’t about the money for Jude, then it must be about winning. Something we failed to capitalise on when we were at the top.

I would love to be proved wrong but I cannot see it happening.

St etienne
I think Jude is a level headed lad and yes he’s guaranteed trophies at Madrid but I bet he fancies playing for us and klopp also . Big decisions he’s almost in a no lose position.

8.) 28 Dec 2022 18:23:15
I'd take Mac Alistair all day long we need players in there 50 million be a good signing aswell.

9.) 28 Dec 2022 19:02:11
Do people ever get tired of worrying about what other clubs are doing? I remember when people here were freaking cos Chelsea sign Saul. Now I don’t remember if Saul ever played a game and if he did he must have been invisible.

Enzo is a great player and there are lots of great teams. We can’t sign them all.

We’d be going for Fernandez now if we didn’t have some information about Bellingham or a good chance of landing him.

I think the required midfield enforcement has been looking us in the face all summer! Frenkie de jong!
Top quality, young and available. Barcelona getting desperate to register new player and the cherry on top is it would destroy Manchester Utd if we picked him up. Get it done Liverpool!

I wonder if they might try Trent in midfield on the right of the 3. Ramsey could be a 2 birds one stone signing! Let’s not forget Trent was a central midfielder pushed to right back.

I know a few Blackburn rovers fans (season ticket holders) that say he is atrocious and has by no means played all the games he was available for, for them. Covered at centre back a few times as well. He gets battered on the rovers social media pages and is simply not at a good enough level for Liverpool. I know he is young but so is my son and he won’t be playing for Liverpool anytime soon either.

The only person in that list injured more than Bobby is jota! He is another one that cannot stay fit! I would cash in on him if in need of money!

To improve your team you only need a new player to be better than 1 regular starter. Tielemens although not elite is better than Henderson Keita Milner Jones and ox. Therefore he has to be good value at 20 million. That’s the way I look at it.

Trent will average more minutes in the attacking half than anybody else on the pitch simply because he forgets to defend!

Will definitely learn a lot more about Utd next week! If they can’t get up for a game against Liverpool they will be in even bigger trouble . (If that’s possible)
