As Liverpool will finish a good 20 points off top spot at this rate and City are inconsistent by their hight standards ( currently loosing at Villa ) then, and I can't believe im about to say this, Arsenals nearest challengers this season could actually be United . They won't be any where near win in the league as Arsenal will romp home buy at least 9 points, but they may well finish second.
They have only 2 competitions to play in, a manger the board, players and fans seem to like and are starting to win games. don't be surprised if come May its United second Arsenal rather than us or City . At present United are in far better shape to challenge than we are.

League is over already! And the Liverpool players know it … I’m sure you will see better results in Europe but overall they are not good enough currently to win anything there’s no structure
Again another quite embarrassing post season after winning - Roy Keane is kinda right a true test is to see how this season would be for lfc and we flopped.

Looking forward to the ‘this is the worst Premier League of all time’ shouts to begin soon.

You do know that things change very quickly in football, right? Chelsea looked like title challengers last year and then fell off a cliff. Spurs were winning games for fun two years ago when Ange first came in and then they also fell of a cliff.

True One!
Less games means less chances of injuries!
Less games means a full week of rest between ye next premier games more often than not!
Less games means you are fitter and stronger for the run in! that was the only reason we won the PL last year!
Less games means more Virgil Van D! CK type of players meetings, instead of practising how to stop teams from scoring against us from set pieces, corners and now long throw-ins. Team meetings solve nothing in football, improvements can only be achieved by playing competitive games on Grass Football Pitches.
Less/ No travelling for European games, means early kick offs have no excuses for tiredness etc! Glasners first defeat in 18 competitive games came at Everton, after they had just played a game in Europe on the Thursday before.
Less games means more tactical work, and training drills during the week! especially on corners and long throw ins, palace and last night.
They have a more vocal 12th man than LFC with 75,000 thousand to LFCs circa 60,000 crowds.
Amorim also has a January window to further improve the team, he has quite a CV beat the then PL Winners man cheaty 4-1 while managing Sporting Lisbon and with Gyokeres as CF, then followed it up by beating man cheaty again in his first manchester derby with two late goals at the Emptyhad! Beaten Chelsea (FIFA world club), LFC already gave Arsenal their toughest PL game so far this season, who only won on a corner. Played Slot twice with four points from six, Slot one point from six? who is the mug!
That stinks to me of Ferguson giving the orders, first thing amorim did was get rid of the player noise (Rashford) , made the team more difficult to beat first 3-5-2, now has improved the attack Cunha, Mbuembo, Sesko for Garnacho, Anthony, Hoijlund, GK was improved Onana gone to Turkey cos he is a Turkey! it all leads to fergusons doorstep i. e. stop changing managers and improve the team with better players in every position.
Ferguson has obviously said let them "ALL" knock six bells out of each other, and come on the outside at the finishing strait, remember this is amorims first full season as a PL manager, could history repeat itself? though he was not left with a team, but has step by step and quietly assembled his own team, less games vastly increase those PL chances. Though his football is dire to watch, they will watch anything if it means number 21, and getting one over us?
