They beat sporting (Portuguese champs)
They beat us (prem third)
They beat Marseille
They are 3-0 up against Leverkusen (German champs and until now unbeaten this season)
Like I know we played crap over two legs but clearly Atalanta are tidy and by god do they work hard and take their chances.
And I'm really pleased for Gasperini.

Slightly mate. I can accept getting beat, that’s football. But the way we got smashed in that first leg at anfield, players walking all game, Klopp smiling, all us fans thinking we’d already won the trophy.
We got humbled and probably needed it.

They are a very good team with some excellent players, Koopmeiners, Ederson and Scalvini in particular look like they could go up another level. They were the best team in the Europa League and deserved winners.

From tonights game i think Ederson was excellent. If we need a number 6 type player and can't get a elite 6, then this guy could be the man.

Hincapie I thought was awful today. Koop reminds me of Mac so unsure of the need but Ederson looked unreal in the 6 - exactly the pace and power we are crying out for in there.
