Ed1 just wanted your opinion on why Slot hasn’t used Gomez, Endo, Rio or Chiesa in any meaningful games this season? Is it he just doesn’t fancy them? Is he wanting to play others into form? Surely this creates a too comfortable position for players like Konate, McAllister, Gakpo and even Salah, no matter your form you play. Same last season but also included Harvey and Quansah. Difference I see is last season we were winning, so those on the outside couldn’t knock on the managers door and say you’ve got to play me, but now if your Joe Gomez you’ve got to be thinking why is Ibou always picked ahead of me.
Endo is a 110% kind of player, fights when things aren’t going well, you need a mix of style and steel sometimes. Rio is fearless and more unpredictable than say Gakpo. Chiesa has been at the club nearly 18 months and hasn’t started a league game, which to me is crazy.

Thanks Ed, would you play any of them yourself now, with our current form?
{Ed001's Note - Chiesa should be playing, we need some energy in the front 3. I would defo drop Konate for Gomez, I don't care how he performed in a one off cup game, he needs a run to get match sharp. He is a better player than Konate at his best. Rio is not ready and I would prefer to play Gravy and Dom behind Wirtz in midfield than put Endo in as starter. I would like to see both Rio and Endo get more minutes though from the bench.}
