I have to say that first half one of the worst performances I've seen in the past 15 years.
It has been coming all season and I am hoping it's the kick up the ass we have needed all season. But I am frightened that our team is totally unbalanced. Both fullback positions as a problem at the minute slot got it right at half time when he put Sobs there we got control of the game and stopped there attacks down that side and as soon as he moved him away from there we looked open again. This is no knee jerk reaction we have looked open on the break from pre season especially down the right hand side.

Sobosli played their attacker on side when they nearly scored on a counter and also was nowhere to be seen on another palace attack. He's not a full back. He's looks excellent going forward because he has time on the ball and has real offensive quality. However slot shouldn't be putting him at rb to free him up more. Play him as an 8 and drop macallister.

The problem I see is slotts happy with the tactics.

Slots tactics in the first were totally wrong. Wirtz was everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
Improved in 2nd half but still way off the pace. Salah and Konate both very very bad imo.
But palace are a good side, we lost to a good forest team this time last season and we were able to grow from it. Let's hope we do the same.
