The issue isn't Wirtz. I think it's Macca. Slot is trying too hard to fit both of them in at the same time now even when Macca has been so far off the pace. Just drop Macca and play Szob there and I believe we'd look much better.
As for Diaz, he has been wanting a move since last summer at the very least. Did everyone forget the comments his father made the previous season about how it is a dream of his to be playing for Barcelona and how we should make it happen? The only reason he moved to Bayern was because Barcelona couldn't afford him. We didn't push him out the door. He wanted to move.

Doku has been a terrible signing. Yes he’s hit 2/ 3 games worth of form for the first time in years. But I wouldn’t swap him for any of our forwards.

Doku has been superb this year LFC8, I too think that he has generally been a show pony at City but he has finally begun to show some end product this year.

OP, Im not sure that is the flex you think it is. Burnley lost to City BUT had more shots and attacking impetus (and even scored) than they did vs us. Could it be that City are poor defensively, as well? Cos Burnley wasn't playing their whole 11 in their own box, were they?
As for Doku, he is in good form. That's where it ends. He has been poor overall, IMO.
