What do people make of the Slot out and alonso in rumours, seems to be a lot of noise out of Spain and Marca that some of the big Madrid players want him out such as Vinicius, rodrygo, Bellingham and a number of others. Strange considering they are top of the league but I guess player power at Madrid can be rediculous! Personally would be happy if we could get him in and could be a long term manager for us, coupled with the fact that he has worked with and got the best out of players like Wirtz and Frimpong and has form of playing to a proper no 9 I think he could be a great pick….

let's hope everyone.

personally, would hope that it works out with Slot before we pick up another club who led a toxic dressing room.

Agree with Faith on this!

I’m still hoping for a miraculous turn around for Slot but I can’t help thinking that one more defeat in the next couple will see the board push the button?
If that does happen though I’m not sure they fancy Iraola as personally I think they would have already gone for him a few weeks back so not sure where that leaves the situation if Slot were to go?

Enrique would be my choice if a change were to be made- would he want to leave PSG? We’re a bigger club without doubt and would he fancy pitting his wits against Pep and Arteta?

I think his passion and personality suits us down to the ground .
Just my opinion before I get jumped on!

Blindfaithinworks - if Alonso leaves the toxic dressing room and player power, surely that marks him out as a man of moral integrity?

Rodrygo, vini, and Bellingham are cry babies who can't deal with the standards and discipline that Alonso is trying to instill in the squad. They have been given too much freedom under Ancellotti and it is showing now when boundaries are finally out in place. Failing at RM is not a barometer for Alonso's capabilities especially when that failure sees them top of the league.

In an ideal world wouldn’t we all want Slot to succeed but I just don’t see that happening based on his entire tenure, yes I know he won the league but I’m firmly in the camp that this was klopps team and largely Klopps style of play, the further we venture from this style of play and squad the worse we are becoming.

In an ideal world our slot replacement would be (1) Enrique, (2) Alonso, (3) Nagelsmann, (4) Iraola. Personally don’t see enrique leaving PSG so soon but perhaps the allure of the premier league may prove too much to refuse.
