Eds, What is our relationship like now with Newcastle after the Isak situation. The only reason I ask is because I think Bruno G would be a great player for us and would love to see him in our midfield.

Elliot Anderson should be our no 1 summer target. We've watched city and arsenal buy similar types of midfielders and their teams have thrived. I don't really give a sh1t what slot wants. This is the premier league and we need a proper 6.
Also be great to have a great English midfielder again. I like Wharton as a replacement for macca but we NEED an Anderson or ederson in there. Anderson is proven in the league.

I wouldn't care what nationality they are but I certainly agree with you Batman on Anderson. He'd be a top level signing similar to what Rice has been/ is for The Gunners.

@Batman, come and join us in the real world. I strongly suspect that Slot, FSG and the club in general aren’t sitting there waiting for you to decide what’s best for the club. What you do, or don’t think about Slot is totally irrelevant to what the club and Slot will decide to do.

WDW what harm does a poster expressing their opinion really do? Thunderbird 2 got a dressing down from an Ed for being high handed and “catty” and you could do with one as well. You are not a Greek chorus or some ombudsman. Your opinion is not any more valid than the OP’s.

Sorry, forgot to add. - @Beg Tets - can you show me an example of anywhere on this forum that I have been on for a number of years now that any opinion I have is more important or carries more weight than anybody else’s?
Every now and again, the board has a conversation about the lack of subtext - facial expression, body language, engagement, tone, context etc, that posts suffer from and I personally think that most post’s, whoever the sender, should start with ‘in my opinion’.
All that said, it’s just a (Liverpool) fan’s football forum and, at heart, we all want the best for the club but that doesn’t mean we all have the same opinions about how we should get there.
