Really poor again last night. Been to every home game bar Madrid so far this season and I would say that’s one of the worst I’ve watched. Results might have been worse in others but at least you felt we may score a few and give ourselves a chance in some of them, last night we created literally nothing.
The substitutions are so so poor at the moment, and the system is just blowing me mind. First half Wirtz was picking up good pockets and the solution to this was to stick him wide left and put szobo who’s movement had been decent as well into the ten. It completely backfired and until we were desperate with ten to go it was so hard to watch.
The system of having fairly one footed full backs who can put a decent ball in but are not great passers and ball players generally like Robbo, Gomez and kerkhez inverting while we have players like salah and Wirtz trying to cut in our side just makes no sense whatsoever. There was a passage of play where we had the ball for 5 mins in the second half and it was constantly wirtz wide left knocking the ball the robbo on the edge and I just couldn’t believe what I was watching it’s so basic and obvious that those two should be swapped.

It’s got to the point where we are Worse at home.
It’s so slow. It’s boring. Formation and Style don’t suit the current squad.
The plan: Just Crawl to January and throw more money at it.

Am fuming with what’s happening to our club. How long is Hughes going to leave it before slot gets sacked. I’d I’ve let under 21 manager have a go because Nothing is changing, absolutely nothing. It’s got to the point where am thinking Hughes isn’t the right person either if he’s just going to keep letting this happen.
We are literally a laughing stock from tactics to fitness to subs It’s beyond embarrassing.

Alex, I was there with you last night, stood on the Kop. Is your feeling the same as mine, that he still has the backing of the home support? I know talking to blokes he still has the backing of the away following. His song was sang yesterday, albeit not that vociferous. Call it blind faith, or whatever, but everyone I speak to can't think of anyone who can come in, who can turn things around, that's available.
After the PSV game I said on here that it was perhaps time for a change, but I've since shifted back to supporting him again, purely because there's no Klopp or Ancelotti to turn to, like in 2015.
I honestly don't know what the answer is. I'll turn up for the Brighton game, with 60k others, expecting to see an improvement, and so on and so on. I, along with everyone else on here, never saw this coming. We can only have hope in our hearts. Blah de blah.

For me, it is up to the point that I am now personally checked out of this season. That performance is the way Slot wants to play and I just can stand the life being sucked out of me watching my club play such clueless, pathetic style where the aim is to keep the ball rather than actually try to win the damn game.
I will never want my team to lose so the manager can go BUT as long as we are looking to replace this geezer then, Im cool with that cos in the end, he will eventually go. Enjoy the vibes cos this season is a write off, IMO.

Rome, I agree, there's no Klopp or equivalent stature out there, but Iraola would be available. They just need to put that wheel in motion. That could be done quite quickly I would imagine. I know they may pine for Alonso but 1.
It might never happen 2. He'd be no more a guarantee of success than Iraola. They're all just gambles one way or another, but as Donald would say "you don't have the cards" for success if we stick with Slot. Unfortunately.

I’ll be honest Rome, I think the atmosphere was the worst I have ever heard it last night.
Support is a tricky one, I don’t think we are the type of fans to hunt a manager out of call for it but I feel that the whole team is that poor and the season drifting away that people just aren’t feeling the passion or hunger or excitement anymore.
When the goal went in for Sunderland it was a flat silent acceptance and even when we scored, there were celebrations but nothing really over the top. And the only real noise was made in the last five until then I hadn’t heard much atmosphere to speak of, certainly not compared to some of last season and the klopp seasons.
