I don't know true this is because it came from someone that has never said a thing to me before. This fella works at boardroom level for a financial institution, so has no reason to be taking the p. I hope haha.
Apparently there is a 5 man shortlist, with 3 of them being on the last one when we where looking for Klopps successor.
If my memory serves me correctly. Slot was appointed and Amorin is at UTD. Alonso, Iriola and De Zebri were the others but none are currently appointable.
The other 2 we are rumoured to be interested in is Nagglesman and Hurzler. Again both won't leave their respective jobs before the summer.
The club are continuing to back Slot mind, they are in no rush because they are willing to wait for the right man rather than jump the gun.
So basically unless something mad happens and we lose our next 5 league games on the bounce. Slot is most likely to be here until at least the summer.

5 points off second isn't insurmountable by any stretch but something has got to start happening very soon.
Ireola or Alonso if things go pear shaped at Real and we don't pick up some serious points before the new year.

Got to say carras shout that slot won't be in charge next season is starting to look more likely .
As said in other thread nagelsmann does not feel me with confidence .
Like the sound of Alonso (if real give in to reported player power) but like Ed . that may just be love for the player .

Regardless of the fact that he's a club legend, the fact that Alonso could get the best out of Wirtz as he did at Leverkusen is a big plus.

Haven't really followed how Xabi has been going at Real and how they play, but if he were to manage at Liverpool he would have the perfect fullbacks to work with and would thrive in how Xabi used his fullbacks at Bayer.

Ok SJ I will bite, just this once.
Firstly Carra. I ain't saying he doesn't know his onions or get good info but the fact is most people fawn over him because you think he is Macca, which he ain't.
Secondly, I don't like to blow my own trumpet but for you I will just this once.
I have an in-law who is currently part of the LFC squad, I also have 2 close family friends who are ex-LFC players. One of my best mates works for the media team at LFC, you see him occasionally in the "inside training" videos at the little coffee bar. Oh and I know numerous other operational and admin staff members. that's just links to the club.
Outside of that I run a very successful business in the football world that puts me in contact with numerous reps, agents, management and even club owners. Through this I know a fair few "big wigs" in the world of business.
All of that puts me in a unique position but most of the info I get is not related to LFC. So when I do get it, I post it on here. Its just information and nothing is set in stone.
Not that I've got anything to prove to anyone, just telling you how it is mate.

I know Victorgoddam has had info from the same sources because he has mentioned it. As has Nedflanders and RobboLFC, I can just tell by what they post. Oh and how could we forget Akira, who seems to have a bit of a bad rap at the moment and the legend that is Macca. Then we have last but by no means least, the boss. Ed1 who is pretty much spot on all the time. That's just my opinion tho.
So there you have it, multiple sources of quality information.

Appreciate all those who post info/ rumours, that’s what I’m here for.
I cringe every time I read a post which says something like “I’ll only believe it when X says it” or “Y posts more concrete info than Z”
It’s not a competition, all info is gratefully received and always interpreted with the caveat that these are rumours. The football world is a very fluid world, a deal one day is not a deal the next. It doesn’t make it bad info or fake news, it just means the situation has changed.
In my humble opinion, Ed002 - God rest her/ his soul - was the most connected informed individual posting info. Even he/ she didn’t know all the deals in advance and sometimes got it wrong. But he/ she was always legit.
