A couple of positives from last night. We didn't concede and Allison match fit making the top class saves again. Couple of negatives. Isak was dead on his feet after 20 minutes and the team not scoring from open play. But a wins a win. Hopefully not another false dawn.

Endo agree on the Allison. Since returning his performances have kind of gone under the radar and he had conceded 9 goals in 4 games.
Last night his performance was back to his usual high standards and when he is on top form he’s a massive asset.

Some posters will only be happy if we lose every game. They are not fans. I want Slot to turn this around, despite the poor football and average results. Can he? Possibly. We need a couple of good buys. Last night could be something of a fresh start.
The noise was fantastic, and I’m glad I made the effort and saw a great result in a wonderful city. I retired as a multimillionaire at 48, and nights like that are better than money. What support! I make friends wherever I go in support of the club.

Wow, congrats on your early retirement SaulGravy. You're really living the dream of everyone one on here.
But I don't think posters are happy if we had lost. I believe that everyone wants the best for the team. If Slot can turn this around then that's great. However, based on what has happened since the start of October, most of us are getting increasingly disillusioned with him. We want the team to do well, with or without Slot. And recent evidence suggests that it would most likely have to be without him.

Slot may have just faced a perfect storm - a medley of unfortunate circumstances such as Guehi not coming, Jota, Leoni being injured. He’ll prove his mettle and ride out the storm for a top three finish. That said, it depends on January.

The most recent evidence is 4 undefeated (2 wins,2 draws) . A win on Saturday then surely we have to stop caring about losing to Palace or Chelsea over 2 months ago.
