I am watching Arsenal v Palace in Cup game. Commentators suggesting Guehi could be off to Arsenal. Anybody heard of Arsenal interest?

I don’t have a huge amount of insider knowledge, but on the couple of times I have met people “in the know” from a couple of clubs (and there is a decade or two between these bits of intel) :

With Richards being stretchered off, Guehi won’t be going anywhere in January now, almost definitely.

Guehi is already difficult for Jan, another injury for them could make it even more unlikely. As for Semenyo that’s a shame, he looks a good player. Not sure where he fits at city.
Maybe we’re going back to the drawing board on signings. That’s maybe the right thing given injuries and loss of form across a number of positions. Semenyo would have been a help but a big part of the problem remains right and centre backs and centre mid.
