I can't see who is a better option than Semenyo. It was Gordon before him, and its clear we need Diaz workrate and outlet / style to be replaced in order to improve the functionality of the system.
The whole thing feels like it lacks a true leader like Jurgen, the team included.

We only know a fraction of the players out there Rojack.
Theres plenty of players out there who are super talented including the ones in our squad.
We got to get the ones we have performing to their capable high standards.
Personally, while I think Semenyo is a super talented lad with a wicked shot, he lacks the high tempo energy/ press merchant Id like to see up top. Obviously the player will have to have serious talent on the ball too.

Look, Semenyo is good but it wasn’t meant to be, we move on, stay positive and pray we sign a top class CB.

The draw I believe as definitely taken a slight temporary knock, right now who’s looking at the football on the pitch and thinking ‘I can be the difference to make that system work’ or ‘I’ll flourish in this system’? We genuinely have quality players struggling in this set up, it’s not suited to a single footballer I can think of.

Slot is wishy washy and his vision for the game is an outdated pipe-dream.
Edwards and Hughes have so much to prove, least not that they want a yes man as head coach.

Disappointed we didn’t firm up interest in Semenyo as I do believe he was ours if we wanted him but equally I trust the club know best long term. Talk or questioning Hughes and Edward’s is a little premature, granted squad is a little off balance at the moment but we can’t argue with the summer transfers we have had when people were rating it a 9/ 10 before a ball was kicked.

Barcola has nowhere near the workrate of Semenyo and as if PSG are going to sanction the sale. I’m only hoping the rumours of dross like Adeyemi, Depay, Marmoush and Sorloth are wide of the mark.

The Irish Rover! Fullly agree, he's French, he's playing a key role at the biggest club in his own country, who also happen to be the European Champions. PSG are an extremely attractive club at the moment, off the back of a historic treble, Enrique doing great things, bar Pep, he's got to be the most sought after manager in the world at the moment.
PSG aren't the feeder club they used t be, I don't see why anybody would want to leave for anything less than Real or Barcelona right now.
