So according to Ornstein Semenyo prefers City, other rumours suggesting we are/ have dragging our feet because Hughes wants Semenyo but Slot doesn’t! Some uncomfortable reports that we may look at ‘short term options’ such as Depay…perhaps Semenyo simply knocked us back once City came calling but when Ornstein comes out with these type of reports he is normally pretty accurate with Liverpool info.

Same to is quick, physical and direct
Pretty nailed in then he’s not a Slot type of wide player.

All the more reason Slot should have been sacked. Who would want to play for him and his dross tactics.

Don't believe they'd let Slot veto something when his position isn't 100% secure.
If city have got him then they have probably put a better case forward to the player. Can we honestly say we are the most attractive proposition right now?
He'd be feeding Haaland and has a genuine shot at the league. Plus the money will likely be better.
Having said all that, I'm still inclined to believe Carra/ Fields and will wait to see how it shakes out.

Being reported seneyno has chosen city.

Best to wait and see. Wirtz was going to city wasn’t he.

@Whatsup, you do talk some absolute rubbish. Why should Slot be sacked because a player wants to move to a different club?

He should have been sacked for the poor football and tactics and the losses so far 100%. Semenyo would rather play for oep than him it's that obvious. Now cop on.

Tbh, if I wasn't a Liverpool supporter and as a top talent I had the choice of LFC or City, I'd choose City right now.
We're playing absolutely terrible football, don't look like title contenders at all. actually look like we'll struggle to get top 4, coach and players look totally lost like they got no idea what they're doing. I'd pick City easily.

Slot does not have final say on transfers, no chance. If the Semenyo deal was actually on the table and Edwards wanted him a bid would have been made. I said weeks ago when I first heard City were rumoured to be in for Semenyo that I highly doubted he would pick us over them. It's easy to see why, he's a Gooner, they won't make a move till the summer, he wants a move now, City have twice as many trophies and 3 times as many PL titles in the last 10 years, the best manager in the game atm, an infinite cashflow and plenty of brown envelopes.
Throw the fact that we just spent 450 million on world class players, not one of them is performing calls from fans and pundits for Slot's job, questions over hether he'll be ther next year, the issues with Salah. Liverpool are a hot mess at the moment. From an unbiased pov, City are the clear choice.
