I know everyone would like semenyo. but id rather we bought 2 top CBs. that's were our main problem lie atm. we can do without a winger but don't think we do without quality defenders.

Definitely CB Is the priority mate
But I reckon not replacing Diaz was a big mistake also. Especially when you factor in Slot hardly plays Chiesa and Rio.

If there's good deals for him and centrebacks they'll be done. The owners look at each deal on its own merits.

Enlighten us then thunderbird., here's my reasons why they should play a bit instead of hardly ever . Rio is a young exciting player who could do with getting the odd 15 minutes n Cheisa every time he plays he makes things happen.

Rio is only 17, playing him in a struggling team will destroy his confidence.
Chiesa isn't good enough to be starting games for Liverpool.

Chiesa is good enough to start games not all of them but some n we will then see if he isn't good enough, he's hardly had a chance n its not like the others in front of him have been in dazzling form .
as for Rio he can't always play in a winning team, its called experience n that's what he will get playing the last 10 mins of games, the next season he will be better for it.

We did replace Diaz. He’s was played as a false 9 last season ahead of both Nunez and Jota and we signed Ekitike and Isak for the number 9 role.
We might need a tricky winger I agree but that wouldn’t replace the role that Diaz played last season.

According to transfer market Diaz played 50 games last season. 33 on the left 15 at CF and 2 on the right.
Isak and Ekitike have replaced the CF position but Diaz def hasn’t been replaced on the Left.
Gakpo and Diaz seemed to push each other last season.

Spot on @TB2 about both. Rio is a kiddie and would have been hard pressed to do anything positive in a team that was on the worst run in 70 years. Chiesa is useful as an impact player coming off the bench for the last 30 mins but he’s not up to a full 90 minutes against most of the better sides let alone 3 games in a week.

So wdw . we have them on the bench so we should use them . has Chiesa had a run of games like Gakpo for example, let young Rio have 10 mins at the end of some games or what's the point of having them in the squad.

Rio is a kid at 17 who needs to be learning the game. Slot threw him in the depend to help rescuse games earlier in the season and it was a terrible mistake.
