Semenyo going to city as per Romano . Disaster for us if so - perfect fit for our team and not seen us linked with anyone else in that mould.
Semenyo and Doku on the wings is a scary thought with Cherki/ Foden and Haaland up top. At least it may stop Arsenal winning the league.

As mentioned before, people are just going to have to manage expectations, this is going to be a long painful season, and this is just another L we have to swallow. We were temporarily the most attractive option in England but that went real quick. It could just be a case of losing out to city which has always been the stronger project for young aspiring players, but I fear we will continue to miss on the players we bring in (this window as well as last) rather than hit. I hope I’m wrong, something that can change that is bringing in proven leadership like guehi but I fear we have other plans, and if somehow slot has say and is influencing decisions, I think we’re in for a lot more dross this season.
Something I will add is we have a clear need for a top midfielder and that has somehow gone under the radar amongst the talk of semenyo and a CB, I’d say our midfield is the main reason we have been so poor this season.

Why is it a disaster? There are many on here who would prefer a CB to come in (and I agree on that nas well) as a priority, rather than Semenyo who I also want. There's no disaster here, IMO.

You are putting words in @Oli’s mouth @Frode - he didn’t say 5hat at all. You are just frustrated because you chose to believe the rumours that Semenyo was coming to Liverpool perhaps you ‘didn’t chose wisely’ as the knight guarding the Holy Grail, would have it.
