Why not look at Unai Emery, very good manager, knows the premier league, knows European football and seems to me like he wouldn't take any crap! Could do worse.

Unai emery had problems managing egos at PSG and Arsenal. He does better at clubs who don't have as much pressure to compete and perform.

Emery is at the right level - a club without massive expectation, but the capability of achieving something significant. It’s exactly the type of club he thrives at - Villa have been the team of the season so far.
It’s pleasing that he’s shown the PL what a good manager he is after what the vile British media subjected him to at Arsenal.

Emery who I love as just a manager and coach, is where he is supposed to be and that's not a bad thing. I think he knows his level as well so it's all good.
And IMO, he could have done a lot better had he gotten near a billion that the his successor got without a pot to pee in for going 6 years. Just my take.
