I think too many people latch onto every reporter post about LFC transfers without taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture.
Most of these reporters are effectively mouthpieces for the club. They share what they’re told because it brings clear benefits for them like access and ongoing information. But what they put out there is not always a true reflection of what’s actually happening behind the scenes. The club uses the media to frame its position and support negotiations.
So when we read things like “there will be no signings this window”, I wouldn’t take that at face value. To me, that usually signals the club is leveraging its position, either to push a deal forward or to get another club back to the table on Liverpool’s terms rather than their own. Until something is agreed and signed, none of us really know what’s going on.
When it comes to the ITKs on this site, I personally give them more credibility than reporters. They’re not just repeating the club’s messaging but sharing what the club is actually trying to do in the market. That said, football is full of moving parts, so no one can ever be 100 percent right all the time.
Anyway, just wanted to share this so we all stay calm and trust our club to do what's right in the correct moment. And also to say thanks to everyone who posts rumours. The site wouldn’t be the same without you.

I agree, it is all part of the fun though, best to take most of it with a pinch of salt and wait to see what happens. Patience is a virtue but almost impossible when it comes to potential transfers and all the opinions that come with it!
We will have a front 3 of Vlahovic, Depay and Sorloth if the latest rumours come to fruition.

Personally i take the ITK's with a pinch of salt too. One of them last summer got ONE thing right, something that wasnt exactly earth shattering and all of a sudden everyone was hanging on their every word?. Most since has proven to be nonsense, probably sitting back having a right good laugh at everyone.

Agreed, Jurgenator. Personally, I don't pay too much attention to the media and the noise for the very reasons you stated. I just wait for things to happen and not put any of my hopes on these links and stuff. even tho I like everyone else, I want the players being linked to sign for us.
Hence, I give my opinions based on the stuff we share here and if I see something interesting online, I just ask their opinion about it.
I mostly listen to the Ed's who say it as it is and have NO incentive to do it for clicks and all that. They ain't that thirsty for such things.
