ED01, sorry you and the OP (and all the fans) had to watch that, too. Seriously, my eyes were bleeding (all Four of them) while watching that crap. The only moments I opened my eyes wide when both goals went in. That was it.
As someone said, it seems Slot gives the players sleeping pills before coming on for the sec. half.

You really think we were crap in the first half besides those two goals, Oli? Maybe I don't know anything about football but I think we did reasonably well. Second half performance was sloppy and disjointed, but it's not like wolves were cutting through us and creating lots of great chances?

We had maybe 4 good moments in the first half Patrik. Second half very poor resorting to the PL Champions hoofing the ball in a state of panic and last minute tackle by Bradley to possibly save us from another embarrassing result.
Appreciate you like to see things a little more positively but I’m a realist and I say what I see either way. We are far from good enough and that’s pretty evident, even in victory mate.

PB the first half should have been the foundation for a 4 or 5 nil win. Instead we're all thinking this could end 2-2 the way our season has gone. I see a team either unfit or conserving energy and trying to see out the game or all of the above.

Why do some people here try to make it seem like it’s a sin to criticise the manager and the team? This Wolves team has 2 points from 18 matches this season. Did we win against them? Yes.
Did we play good football and win convincingly? Not at all. Some are criticising because we are Liverpool, and the standards used to be high. Struggling to beat a team with 2 points is clearly not.

Irish Rover, in the first half the team were trying different things to create against a packed box, pressed decently well and with coordination, wirtz was getting involved in all the areas we wanted him to get involved in, we were winning our duels and 50-50s across the pitch, everybody was working hard on both sides of the ball. Besides scoring ten goals, what else do you want from the team?
I don't mind folks criticising the team when they do badly but at least give them praise when they deserve it. Or are they supposed to dominate every team and pen them in from first minute to last?
It's like if other teams score they are organised and know their jobs, but if we score it's just a fluke and nothing to do with the coach or the way we play. That's what passes for 'realism' in the minds of some posters on here? I guess I don't understand how folks have come to hate the manager so much that it skews their view of the game entirely. It's fascinating but also somewhat disturbing.
{Ed001's Note - most of our goals recently have been down to luck though as they have come from errors made by players under no pressure. If it had been because we were pressing the life out of teams and they messed up, then that is not luck. But what we have seen is us not pressing but being given the ball back in dangerous areas, with the opposition out of shape. Today, in the first half, was the first time this season we truly looked decent and it all came from Wirtz, Kerkez and Frimpong getting freedom to do what they were bought to do. For some reason all that freedom was taken away from them at half time.}

Also, I am intelligent enough to entertain 2 thoughts on the same topic at the same time. I can be okay with watching my team win while at the same time, remain severely concerened with the dross I am being served up with nthing changing anytime soon.
