V good win, not a great watch but we defended v well against team who made final last year.
Jones played well and I thought wirtz gave us that wee bit extra when he came on.
Pen soft but if konate hadve pulled opponents jersey in box like bastoni did we would be slaughtering him for giving ref a decision to make.

One thing Is like to see improve from Isak and Ekitike is their hold up play. Back to goal they are horrendous and we lose pretty much every ball.

And it delivered big time. Hardest European fixture of our draw, and it shut last years finalists out completely.

Excellent win that after a negative week. Individually we don’t have to be on form, if we Work hard and the formation/ structure suits the squad.

That was the ideal response to all the noise that has come out these last few days. Performance can, absolutely, be improved, no doubt about that. But, we needed a result today, and against a good side, too.

The penalty was fortunate, to put it lightly. But, I thought we kept Inter at arms length, and didn't look susceptible at every attack, for the first time in a long time. Created a few chances too, Bradley and Wirtz provided the spark we needed to get us over the line. The less I say about Isak, the better, though.

Either way, great result, and I only hope we can make 4 unbeaten into 5 unbeaten against Brighton.

1 million times better excellent performance and result fought hard kept our shape created some great chances soft peno but Konates goal should have stood. If we can get 4 pts from our last 2 games we should get top 8 and bypass last 32 games, let's just hope we can put another gusty performance like tonight's in on the weekend at home to Brighton otherwise this will be like after the win against Real Madrid another false dawn. But hats off to the lads super team performance from everyone totally deserved.

Well that’s the best result we’ve had in a while. Hopefully it alleviates some pressure. We’ve not lost in 4 games now so some positive progress.

That was a much better team performance, better passages of play and much better defensively we can do better but a 1-0 away win in Italy at Inter who haven’t lost at home in a while is a very good result.

Wasn't bothering to watch the match tonight. Generally just fed up. But 55 years of being a fan - I ended up switching on in the 85th minute -lol. Is this a sign? :)

Pretty classic European performance. All good, deserved the win. Nice just to watch a controlled, disciplined performance. Shout out to Konate, VVD, Robbo, Curtis, Grav, they were all very good. And tactically to Arne as well.

Wirtz, Connor also very good when they came on. Shades of last season at last.

I would like to have seen Wirtz against this opposition as suspect he might have had more time on the ball.

I would love to know his thinking around continually playing Konate given his horrendous form and why he isn't starting Bradley given he is suspended for the weekend game?

I don't understand any aspect of Slot's thinking, tactics or personal choices, albeit I get that he is short due to the injuries or unavailability of Chiesa, Gakpo and of course Salah.

I hope he surprises me with a genius formation and savvy tactics, but I doubt he will!

If we lose again tonight, particularly badly, should that be it for Slot?

Slot said pre match that Wirtz and Bradley have just come back from injury so they're managing minutes and with that Gomez goes to RB leaving no real other choice than Konate at CB.

With 2 GKs on our bench, we still have four less subs than Inter?

The set up looks similar to man city away win last year 2-0. 4-4-2 or a diamond with Dominic between Hugo/ Isak

Hugo and Isak keep the width out of possession, Jones and Dominic two false number nines, Alexis, Ryan two holding midfielders.

We will always score goals, our problems are all at the back, we are like a boxer who cannot defend himself taking blow after blow, Inter Milan only conceded one goal in 8 UCL league format games last season, Arsenal 3,LFC 5.

Very good defensive first half. I thought for the first time in a while we hunted in packs defensively. Curtis very good, Grav good, all of the back four and Ali good. Just slightly lacking in wide areas, but we should have had the goal anyway. Really pleased with that.

Well team selection tells you everything, go out there and don’t get embarrassed! When I saw Ekitike and Isak starting I thought maybe we would see 4-4-2 diamond with width from Bradley and Kerkez but he has went with Gomes and Robbo instead so absolutely no pace on the flanks from anywhere! We are in for a SNOOZEFEST tonight folks.
